A week long stay saw us return here many times. The bread is very tasty and croissants best in class. Such a friendly team who speak English French and Irish! Well worth a visit (was recommended to us initially by the fruit and veg stall on the Sunday market - "go to the best it's Leyris")

They have a great selection of breads, pastries, cookies, tarts and cakes. They gave great advice and I probably sampled most of the store over a couple different visits. Strongly recommend if you're in the area.

This little patisserie is just off the main river walk in a quaint pedestrian street. The owner's wife is American which really helped when choosing our bread and pastries. The two we had were absolutely awesome!!

We spent eleven days in L'Isle and were in Patisserie Leyris at least twice a day. In the morning it was croissants and chassons de pomme. In the afternoon it was often bread or quiche and pastries for dinner. Great people with great products.

this patisserie makes, by far, the best pastries, croissants, breads, & especially quiches I have eaten in all of the south of France. Their quiches, four or five varieties, are a perfect breakfast or light lunch item. The crust is flaky and buttery and the custard is ethereal. The staff is wonderful and speak English.

Delicious! They have so many various assortments of pastries that are just gorgeous as well as tasty! The staff is bilingual in French and English which is definitely useful for a tourist like me ;) I really loved their croissants, baguettes and everything they had was very reasonably priced. Definitely going back when I have the chance!

My daughter and I loved their pastries (in particular the apricot cheesecake and the chocolate éclairs). We also appreciated that the staff speaks fluent English and is forthcoming with friendly advice about sightseeing in the area. Oh, and they also bake an excellent whole-grain nut bread!

Philipe and Robin make you feel members of the family when coming to their boulangerie and patisserie in the rue carnot in old L'Isle sur Sorgue! They offer you good local bread, fine pastry and delicious cakes, both sweet and salty. Being from France and the US you experience both the spirit of area and the world. Come and enjoy!

Very friendly and helpful staff ... Speaking both French and English. My daughters love the chausson pomme and we have also tried most of the pastries. A wide range of breads and cakes available.

On a recent trip to Provence we visited several of the small villages in the region. We visited this bakery several years ago on a family trip to L'Isle sur la Sorgue and wanted to go back. Still great bread and quiches as we remembered. This time we decided to try the cheesecake and chose the blueberry. It was amazing!... More
