About
Located in the heart of the historic Old Town district, Boulder Dam Brewing Co. is Boulder City's first and only brewpub. Located across the street from the Boulder Dam Hotel, the brewery is less than five miles from Lake Mead and less than eight from Hoover Dam. Practically a museum in itself, the brewery features decor and fixtures from the 1930's, silent films made during the construction of the dam, actual pieces of equipment used during the construction and a myriad of art depicting Boulder City's beginnings and brewing from the period. A destination for locals and visitors alike, Boulder Dam Brewing serves up six original pub-brewed beers at a time. The 40-barrel system allows the flexibility to offer many unique styles, from refreshing Pilsners to hoppy Pale Ales to creamy Stouts. Food ranges from traditional pub fare to salads, burgers, sandwiches and more, all prepared from scratch. The brewpub also carries a great selection of craft beer from around the world, wines and non-alcoholic beverages. With plenty of seating inside, and a beautiful beer garden outside, it's the perfect place to stop by for a pint and a bite.

Stayed opposite in the Dam Hotel and popped over for a beer. Before we knew it we had ordered food and were sat in the setting sun enjoying wine and their own brews. Looked after by a gent who was happy to chat and advise what to eat and drink and even where to go for breakfast the next day. Would go back based on this enjoyable experience, some of the best drinks and food of the whole trip.

We visit BC twice at year, for the last 13 years and each time we eat & drink, at least once, at this place. But we’ve seen this place go from tremendous to so so. Food- they use to have large, tender, Bavarian style pretzels that melted in your mouth now they have hard, microwaved nuggets with to Luke warm sauces. In addition, several other staples have been removed or changed. Drink- they use to have a super berry cider but not any more in fact they lost about 25% of the previous drink menu. Service was good- it was a Wednesday at 3:00 and we were the only customers.

Check your bill if you go. It was crowded and they sat us at a large table that was being used by one other couple who graciously let us sit there. They left before we did. When our bill came we were charged for one more beer than we had ordered as the first beer the waiter brought was not the one I ordered and he replaced it. Our waiter acknowledged this and went to have our bill corrected but was told by the manager that they would need the credit card from the other couple before they could correct ours. We did not know the other couple and they had left an hour before we finished eating and drinking. Our waiter offered to pay the difference but we did not feel that was fair to him so we paid the bill and gave him the tip he deserved. What was a nice time was ruined over a beer.

Cute little place. Service was pretty good. But saw employees sitting around a table when not doing anything. Even saw one tell a customer that walked in to just sit anywhere without getting up from their table. Let’s talk food. It was nice portions, served hot and tasted great. They do say on the menu vegetation friendly but nothing about Gluten Free. That said if you need GF MAKE IT CLEAR what you need. I am gluten intolerant and sent my burger back because it came with I bun after I ordered it with out. All they did was take it in back and peel the bun off. You can’t do that it’s now cross contaminated! They have a beer in a bottle listed as Gluten Free, but be aware it’s gluten reduced not free. So if you have celiac or are very sensitive to gluten you shouldn’t eat here.

My wife and I got our food to go here, I had ordered the Bruceclub sandwich and let me tell you it was really good tasting and it came with fries and they are the best tasting fries ever, just like the ones you get at In - in - Out, but maybe better, they are crispy and the skin is left on and cut thin, really good, I also ordered a side of onion rings, but these were the type that are like beer batter so I did not care for them and threw them away. My wife had gotten the salad and she really liked that and we each got an ice tea and she also had an ale beer too. I got to say this place did social distance and all the tables had guest at them. I can see that they brew their own beer. The food was really great tasting and they got our order correct.

Stopped in for a cold beer after doing a 6 mile hike and it was worth the 35 minute wait to get a table. Food was slower to come, but the Wings were outstanding! Service was slow for a Presidents Day Monday at 1 pm but it was so nice out on the patio and the beer so cold, time was inconsequential . 😉

Do not waste your time or money going to this restaurant. They do not value your time or making sure that you were taken care of. I understand when you’re busy but unfortunately this was out of hand. The male waiter took our drink order after sitting there for 10 minutes and then forgot to bring us our drinks told us that this round Would be on him. They were still on the bill. After 45 minutes or food came out and it was cold and disgusting. Don’t make the same mistake we did don’t go there!

Hmm, just imagine a nice cold fresh local beer and pub grub. Couldn't wait after a long day of hiking and driving to Boulder City. But who knows? Even though they were advertised to be open until 9 pm they were closed at least by 7:30 pm because no one came in. If you want a beer here you better hurry because this place will not be around much longer.

We went there for my son's 50th and although we were just the four of us it was one of the best afternoon experiences in a long time. Groupon has a special deal with them so i recommend you look into that. All the flites we tried were great and the appetizers were beyond great. To say the least we were all Happy Happy Happy

It's pretty good! My visit had some issues because the staff was way in the weeds. Once I got noticed they did a good job of taking care of me, but it was tough. I got the house burger that was delicious, but put on a bib because because it was drowned in avocado (not complaining) Sadly, didn't like the beers I had but I didn't do the sampler, just a pint of pilsner and an ipa. Sampler would be the way to go.

I was disappointed with our visit here. We had a flight of each of the beer offerings and none of them impressed us, the quality of their brews is simply not that good. I suppose if you're not picky when it comes to beer it would be acceptable. The service we received was average as well, the employees didn't seem very enthusiastic or customer-service focused, and acted as if they couldn't care less. Not impressed at all.

Stopped here after a day hiking in Boulder City. No wait and seated promptly. Nice selection of beers with wine as well. Food was typical of breweries - we had hamburgers with sweet potato fries. Prices were reasonable, COV-ID protocols were in place and the place had a nice local vibe to it. We would recommend if in the area and thirsty for a beer and good food.

Really good craft beers. Canned salsa, partially melted cheese dip for nachos. Patty melt bread was greasy due to not knowing how to caramelize onions. No seasoning on burger itself.

We went to the Boulder Dam brewing company during the wine walk. The first thing we noticed was the friendly customer service we received when we walked in. We appreciate that they had kids meals available. My pastrami sandwich was one of the best pastrami sandwiches I have ever had and my husband enjoyed his wings and fried pickles. We shared a sangria safari which allowed us to taste multiple sangrias. (Not always available.) We both REALLY liked the Russian Tea, which we probably would not have chosen if we had only ordered on Sangria. We definitely want to go back and try the beers.

Staying in Las Vegas for a few days and visited Lake Mead for the day. Stopped at Boulder Dam Brewing Company on the way home for dinner. Great choice. Sat on the very pleasant patio. The food was great. My wife said her pastrami sandwich was one of the best she ever had. I had the hatch chili burger which was also excellent. The only thing I was not completely thrilled with was the beer. For a brewery I guess I was expecting more. The beer was OK but not great. That’s the only reason I gave it four stars instead of five. The service was awesome, everybody was very friendly!
