I ordered my bowl and it was ready to go when I arrived. Tasty. Perfect in fact. Place was super clean and friendly staff. I could tell they took cleanliness seriously. They had the safety protocol in order. I will return. I love the fast...order ready to go option:)More

We were looking for a healthy meal option while traveling in Alaska. This spot in Anchorage jumped out on the Trip Advisor search. We were greeted by the owner. With his “Mike Rowe” baritone he explained how the menu worked. It’s a great idea. The...quality and quantity of food was excellent. If we lived in Anchorage we would be regulars here. It’s worth the stop if you are here on vacation.More

My menu is Lava that I loved it. Yummy near my house. Good location, easy to park. They closed on Sunday but may be open in summer.

I consider myself to be very healthy and health conscious, I have never had this unique but delicious compilation of food for a meal. I was very pleasantly surprised with how tasty, filling and healthy it was. Though it has been a while since I’ve...been there, I only come to Anchorage a few times a year. But it is definitely on my radar to go back.More

We went here after missing the acai bowls of NewPort Beach in California and were not expecting the same experience. I am happy to say we were wrong this place was a wonderful surprise. We had the most popular bowl the Mauna Kea and a...grilled cheese and vegetable sandwich. We can't decide which we liked better- the sandwich was amazing served on Famous Daves Bread I believe and so full the filling was falling out the sides. It was one of the best grilled cheese I have ever eaten. The alai bowl was very similar to the ones on the California beaches, no small feat for Anchorage. The only negative is the decor should use some updating, change out the fluorescent lights and redo the concrete floor and atmosphere would be as perfect as the food.More

I absolutely loved my breakfast that I had that morning at this cool and healthy place. I was unsure what to get so I asked the owner to choose for me, what a choice! I loved it. I felt healthier then when I had arrived.

I pop into here every single chance I get and will continue to as long as they keep making the killer bowls!!!!! I head the ownership changed recently. The interior went through some minor changes, but the quality of the food is still excellent.

I absolutely love Acai Alaska! I ended up going there on a recommendation from a friend. It's very casual and mellow. You'll have to ask them to explain the base you'll want depending on what you order. I've only been 3 times. I only gave...it 4 stars because the prices are quite high. I actually spoke with the owner who showed me how things worked. He was totally casual and friendly. Love it! I totally recommend this place. There are a lot of options. It's also very "chill" where there are different types of seating. You can sit at a table or they have bean bag chairs and pillows also which made me feel really comfortable.More

My friend and I opted to try out Acai Alaska for different kind of breakfast get together, instead of the usual eggs and toast. The Chef was great, helping us match our tastes with the many options available on the menu. He also provided us...small tastes of the options to help us pick the best one for us. The bowls were so tasty I even bought one "to go" for my husband.More

How can you go wrong with fresh fruit, nuts, granola, chocolate, coconut and more? It's a whole new take on something like a frozen yogurt bowl with toppings only a bit healthier I imagine. If you are in town, definitely get over there and try...one of their awesome bowls!More

We went once with our cousin in 2014 but chose to have a breakfast burrito. We both just weren't sure about these berry bowls. But watched our cousin eat hers and it looked yummy so this year when we went I tried one. I absolutely...loved it. Hubby tried mine and liked it. So we went a couple days later and he got one too. When we move there ai can see us frequently going here. Yummy and healthy.More

When traveling to Anchorage, I was introduced to Acai Alaska by a coworker from Anchorage. I was intrigued when she described it, even if it sounded odd as a meal option: an acai "blend" (i.e., a puree of sorts) that is topped with your selection...of fruits and nuts. (I recommend visiting the website for a full description, including a video.) Turns out that it is delicious, healthy, and rather filling. We went for lunch, and I think it would be a great alternative to a smoothie for breakfast. A unique experience that I recommend trying at least once.More
