We ate here last week. The food was great, with a diverse, albeit expensive menu. However, the high prices were somewhat mitigated by the fact that taxes here are non-existent. This restaurant is at the top of the Captain Cook hotel, and also has a nice view of the city below.

We went for happy hour at the Crow's Nest. It is a beautiful room with a great 360 degree view of Anchorage and the surrounding sights. The beverage prices were reasonable for the venue and the service and ambiance was excellent.

My husband and I were in staying at the Hotel Captain Cook for our honeymoon and our last night before we left for the cruise we visited The Crow's Nest. The hotel directory suggested we dressed a little nicer which was fun to do after a long day of hiking. We got up there right before sunset so unfortunately the... More

The food is pretty good here, but the view is something else. It is located on the 20th floor of the Marco Polo hotel (which looked really nice - very old school). Most of the tables are up against the floor to ceiling windows. I sadly did not book so got a table in the middle which is a raised... More

We had an excellent dinner at the Crow's Nest. Both sides of the restaurant have fantastic views and the food and service are top notch. We saved this as a treat on our last night in Anchorage. I had foie gras to start and then delicious perfectly cooked King Salmon. My partner had the Tabby Crabby Patties, which he raved... More

The restaurant is on the 20th floor. The view of the ocean was beautiful. The staff was very attentive and the food was excellent. A nice quiet place to have dinner.

We visited the restaurant based on a recommendation from our concierge. It was on the 20th floor of a hotel in downtown anchorage. The view was amazing and the service excellent. I liked the fact the dress could be fancy or more casual. The wine menu was extensive and the menu featured some best local options including game meats and... More

The ambiance, service and food just can't be beat. We are getting to know Tom, the sommelier, fairly well and really appreciate his advice. He hasn't steered us wrong on wine yet. It's quiet (great for older people!!), and the staff are universally friendly and prompt. The food is just the best...they rotate their menu regularly. Price is high, but... More

The view here is spectacular. Go for drinks or a full gourmet menu. I had a great meal here, and went back a second time for a drink in the bar with snacks. Well worth the money.
