Our food was excellent and served at the proper temperature. We shared the delicious tomato and Gorgonzola soup and an avocado sandwich while sharing a laugh with Chris. A... More

Amy was my server- very friendly and attentive. For starters, I tried the crab and scallop cake- I love to get crabcakes and usually order at every restaurant but have never got it with scallops. I felt like an amateur reading this! Glad to have tried it but it was a tad bit on the bready side. Still good flavor... More

Sacks keeps a smaller menu that changes periodically. However, the food is excellent and emphasizes local ingredients. I like the kale Caesar, crab and scallop cakes, and Rockfish. However, the curry is also good and they usually have fresh oysters. But ask about their specials and talk to your server. They're very knowledgeable about the menu and food. Check it... More

Loved it! Had the crab and scallop cakes, and the Rockfish (meat and potato) Salmon (fresh and light) entrees along with the coconut creme and chocolate cake.

We go here for special occasions and both food and wine pairings have never disappointed. While the interior could use a couple face lifts here and there, the service is superb and I would venture to say that I get the best quality food preparation in Anchorage right here at SACKS.

I had breakfast here and it was very good. I had the homemade yogurt, granola and fruit and was so fresh and delicious I had 2 bowls! The breakfast burrito was just as good. Skip the wait at Snow City and eat here!

Sack's catered our event last night and did a great job. Excellent value, super fresh food, great gluten free options and wonderful staff. Will use them again.

Sacks is often overlooked as a brunch location, especially with the popularity of its sister restaurant, Snow City. After having lived in Anchorage for over a year, I prefer the brunch at Sacks. First, it is far less busy and you aren't required to have a reservation as is often the case at Snow City. Second, I haven't found a... More

Delicious meal, excellent service. Don't miss the tempura sushi. Enjoyed with a nice bottle of pinot noir from "down under".

Sack's is a great choice if you are downtown for the evening. It is an unassuming little place from the street, but really quite large with an ambiance that is "urban chic". It features a wine and beer bar that has an excellent selection. Thier menu is a varied continental and everything I've ever tried is delicious, presented with a... More
