Went with a friend a couple weeks after they'd apparently changed their menu. (Lunch) I had the fish & chips, (battered fried cod & french fries) which were quite good but the coleslaw on the plate was awful. I'd had the same lunch a year...or so ago & the crisp coleslaw was served in it's own bowl kept separate from soaking the french fries. This stuff was slimy & while I normally love coleslaw I couldn't eat it. It also affected the fries, making them wet. Guys, please go back to your old coleslaw recipe & don't serve it on the plate with the fries! Also the bread pudding is so good but a scoop of ice cream on top would make it perfect.More

A warm place to eat, cozy, with affordable food and VERY good beer! A good selection of soups and salads.

This is the restaurant I take all my out of state visitors to. The food selection is outstanding and varied, so everyone will find something they will enjoy. They offer a selection of excellent beer that is brewed on site.

We had foods and drinks at the Glacier Brewhouse on a Tuesday evening. The brew house has a modern feel with an inviting open atmosphere. There is a beautiful bar areas surrounded by open seating. The staff was friendly and attentive. There is a large...stone fireplace in the middle of the restaurant. We sampled several of the beers at the brew house and all of them were excellent. The food was very good although we did eat very light as we were catching a late evening flight and didn’t want a big dinner. That notwithstanding, our appetizers were very good and the meals that passed by looked equally delicious and large. I would definitely recommend the Glacier Brewhouse for casual dining and drinks in downtown Anchorage.More

Our waitress was outstanding. The atmosphere was great, too! The prices were a little high, I thought, for the quantity and quality of food. All in all, it was pretty decent but more pricey than what the food was worth.

The alder grilled salmon, creme brule, and flourless chocolate cake were all exceptional! The cake was like pure fudge. Glacier Brewhouse offers a warm, cozy, and rustic atmosphere with a nice view of the open kitchen. Service was prompt and friendly. I'll definitely return if...I ever get back to Anchorage!More

Last night in Alaska and I wanted a nice meal and after reading some reviews, made a reservation here. I couldn’t have been more pleased. The atmosphere was very nice and food was exceptional. My server was amazing as well as the bartender. I had...the Alaska Alder-Grilled Salmon and it was delicious! I’m sure the other selections were equally as delicious, but I was dying for some Alaskan Salmon. I highly recommend Glacier BrewHouse when in Anchorage. Be sure and make a reservation as it can get busy. You won’t be disappointedMore

Warm, friendly and comfortable place. Good menu with fresh seafood and menu choices. They brew their own beer as well as well as root beer and cream soda. Service was excellent and servings were large. Their seafood chowder was exceptional.

Nope. Dinner starts at 5.. However, I believe you can still order appetizers/bar food.. Honestly, it's better to call and ask the establishment instead of posting a question that most people wouldn't know the answer to.
