We visited the Brewhouse one Sunday afternoon after a busy day exploring parts of Alaska. The beer was yummy, and the food was even more so. We enjoyed the Halibut and the Philly cheesesteak. We were very happy with both dishes and would definitely revisit the Brewhouse to try different dishes. There was a wait to be seated, but we... More

My husband son and I walked here from our hotel in the recommendation of hotel staff. There was going to be a 2 hour wait at 6:30pm, but we were told that If we wanted to eat at a section with a tile floor (as opposed to a section with a carpeted floor) it was first come, first serve. We... More

We at Glacier Brewhouse for lunch after walking and shopping for a couple of hours. It was a little noisy but that's to be expected at a "brew pub." Service was only ok. They menu was typical but the descriptions should be a little better. Three of us ordered the raspberry italian soda at $4.50 a drink. They weren't drinkable.... More

Just arrived in Anchorage and we are having lunch. This has one one the best salmon club sandwiches, a little bread and a lot of salmon. Staff is fantastic, food is great and its just across the street from our hotel.

We enjoyed the ambiance and the food. This was our first meal in AK after many hours on the plane and it was a very relaxing, positive introduction to Anchorage. The service was very friendly and the location was very convenient to our hotel.

I'm a sucker for the Brewhouse's seafood chowder and order it all the time. It's thick, and actually has morsels of seafood you can taste - salmon, halibut, shrimp - and the potatoes are not big chunks but diced to small perfected cubes. It's nice to know you're eating seafood chowder, not potato chowder! The chopped Blue Salad is the... More

While in Anchorage on a family vacation we were told about this restaurant by numerous people. First night we tried but couldn't get reservations. The second night we were able to get one, albeit later in the evening than we had hoped. But with the strong recommendations, we couldn't pass it up. It's a large restaurant with a comfortable sports... More

One of the best restaurants in Anchorage. Food is always excellent and the service always outstanding. I come to Anchorage often for business and I always plan at least one meal at Glacier Brewhouse. Lunch is less crowded than dinner. I have enjoyed everything I have ordered at this restaurant.

On our way to Denali, overnight in Anchorage, ate at Glacier Brewhouse. There is a wide variety of beers in small and larger sizes. The seafood chowder was the hit of the table. The Alaskan rockfish was enjoyable along with the salmon and halibut. The crab cakes are not worth it; they were fried to much, overwhelming the beauty of... More

We walked in on a Monday afternoon around 2 and the restaurant was packed. Terrific food and service. The server was very knowledgeable and the fish specials (halibut and salmon) terrific! Beautifully prepared and presented.
