We had 1 kids meal, 2 adult burgers, fries, 1 salad, and 4 shakes, and water. The total was $71.xx without tip. Service was good, but I don't think food was worth the price.

Given all the hype I was a bit disappointed. The chicken was nicely fried but spiceless. Ditto on the Onion Rings. The Cole Slaw was good. The Chocolate Malt was too thick. If I wanted Iced Cream I would have ordered Iced Cream. Service was very good.

Best darn peanut butter milk shake ever, anywhere! I also had the chili which was a first. It was full of flavor and was enough t consider it a meal.

From the Hype, I expected more... I checked the web page online and saw that their pricing was comparable to other restaurants in the area, However, the prices on their in store menu were a lot different than advertised on web. (May be time to update their online menu.) We were early for the lunch crowd, 11:15ish. We ordered the... More

Years ago I had a hamburger here and was unimpressed. The parents were in town and had read about this place online and wanted to try it. So we went for dinner. We were seated quickly and brought water quickly. Server took our order and we had our food shortly after. Fries were typical, but properly salted. Chicken was good.... More

I have always loved, and still do, the shakes, malts, fried chicken, burgers, shoe-string fries. It never changes and it's a classic in my heart.

We love the Lucky Wishbone for it's local flavor from the food to the service to friends we run into. They have excellent burgers, chocolate shakes and home-made onion rings. We also love their Halibut sandwiches. Have never had a bad meal. The have a great fried chicken that we like to have for dinner.

The menu selection is very limited. We wanted breakfast at 10:30 AM but they really do not have a breakfast menu. Had a grilled ham and cheese and a tuna melt both on plain white bread as that is the only bread they have. The fries were pretty good but if you can find another place, please do. I usually... The place itself is outdated but that is what they are going for I think. Seated right away and staff was friendly. Not a quiet place - very open seating. Fried Chicken was awesome. Got milkshakes to go.

Family members who've lived in Anchorage for decades took me to Lucky Wishbone, "an Anchorage institution." The decision between burgers and chickens was difficult, but I went with the chicken. It was very fresh and tasty, but if you like super-coated, greasy, chain-restaurant-style fried chicken you will not enjoy the Lucky Wishbone version. Their chicken (and their french fries) are...
