My husband and I ate lunch here today while passing through Anchorage after a recommendation from a friend. The locally crafted beers are great. We also enjoyed an order of breadsticks as an appetizer (lots of food!) and a classic pizza. Everything was delicious and...our service was wonderful! Seems like this restaurant is doing a great job with COVID restrictions and keeping guests safe. Would definitely visit again if in the area!More

Due to the latest Covid-19 mandates and restrictions, there is no dine in allowed…everything is take out only. They do offer their full menu.

Someone had recommended this place to me. I can see why. It really seems to be a popular spot. Even during covid times. They seemed to be allowing some indoors dining but I just ordered takeout. It was Saturday night around dinner time so the...wait was well over an hour. But that was OK. When I arrived I sat in my car until they called to tell me the order was ready. Then it was a quick venture inside, grabbed my meal from a numbered section (they tell you which number is yours when they call) and out the door. Simple. Safe. I ordered a small Aloha pizza and mixed green salad. I had read they brew their own root beer and was looking forward to trying a bottle but they only sold it in either a 4-pack or in a growler. Both options were too expensive for just a try so I passed. The pizza was very good. The salad was excellent. All super fresh ingredients and tasty. Small pizza was perfect size for one person. Bill was $17 which maybe felt a little on high side but OK. Enjoyed the meal a lot and recommend stopping by.More

Great food and good service, wish there was a second location. The pizzas are great and love the variety that you have to choose from.

Such great pizza and in atmosphere! We visited after landing in June...and had to wait so post-COVID you may need a reservation. Awesome first dinner in Alaska!!

The wait for a table is about 30 minutes but very much worthwhile!! Sat inside the tent and our server was Julia. Without a doubt the happiest person I've met on a long time!! Professional, attentive and genuinely fun!! The food was good the service...was outstanding!!More

We had 2 pizzas to go and they were delicious. Also got a mud pie. Limited indoor sitting but still plenty. Worth the 1 hour wait for the order.

Moose's Tooth was an ok experience but didn't meet my expectations for the #2 rated restaurant in Anchorage. I arrived just after 5 pm on a Friday, thinking I'd likely beat the peak dinner rush. It was still a 40 minute wait for a table....Not their fault, but just to be aware it's a busy place! After ordering, it was about a 30+ minute wait for my pizza. Not totally unreasonable, but beginning to feel a bit long. The mozzarella bread sticks were very good. The thin crust pizza was a little saggy and soggy. Good flavor, and not totally gross, but again, below my expectation for a top rated place. I ordered a small 10", which came cut in only 4 pieces. Cutting in 6 or 8 pieces would have made them a bit more manageable, especially due to the saggy crust. It's a little thing, but noticeable when it's subpar.More

This place (Moose’s Tooth) came highly recommended by locals. Someone said it is rated in the top 10 best pizzas in the whole country! Well, unless there’s another Moose’s Tooth in town, this sure ain’t the best pizza I ever had. Average, at best! When...I come to Alaska I want to SEE the reindeer, not eat it! In fact, I didn’t see any wildlife at all on our trip! I guess the only thing I might’ve been able to see was a big ole mouse at this Chuck E. Cheese-esque pizza parlor. If I could go back, I would’ve ordered 3 orders of cheesy breadsticks before having some of this piled-on poser pizza. But the service was great! I just wish there was a disclaimer on the menu or front door with a REAL rating of this food...💩More

This place came highly recommended by several Anchorage locals. It was a big disappointment. We had to wait 30 minutes for a table (which was fine, no problem) but when the pizza was delivered it had no flavor and was undercooked. The pizza needed at...least another 5+ minutes in the fire. So, if you go and you like your pizza a little more firm and cooked, ask for it well done.More

As a vegan I'm thinking your only options would be a salad. I'm allergic to dairy and I stayed with a salad. It does not say if pizza sauce is dairy free and the waitress didn't seem to know for sure.

Indian Valley and Alaska Sausage both will process your caribou/moose into good quality sausage. Additionally, they both sell reindeer sausage around Anchorage. Costco carries reindeer products from both of these companies.

I think that's right. long hours, great service. But, be aware, it's so popular that peak meal times often haver some pretty significant wait times. it's comfortable tho. .... and worth it.
