We were on vacation in Alaska and required vehicle servicing. We had a 2 hour wait and the garage suggested walking across the street to Yes as we had our little dog with us and could not leave him behind. He said they were pet...friendly. Were they ever! We asked the waitress just to make sure. No problem. They found us a spot on the patio. We really appreciated it. It was a warm June day and we had no vehicle and no place we could go into with a dog. We both had a casear wrap for lunch. Very tasty. Thank you Yes for making us feel so welcome!More

Not impressed but it could have potential. The service was horrible. It took our server over 15 minutes to come to our table after we were initially seated. Instead of greeting us, the first thing that she said was something about a personal health excuse...as to why it took her so long. The place was dead so there was no excuse for poor service. Food was mediocre. Calamari tasted like it was fried in old oil, nacho chips were so stale that I thought I was going to break my teeth. Salad didn’t have enough dressing and we had to flag down our waitress (once she reappeared from the back) to get more, coconut shrimp was so heavy on the shredded coconut that I could hardly tell that there was shrimp under there. The only positives is that the decor was great (especially LOVED the copper sink in the bathroom) and the wine quality and wine glasses were perfect.....the pour could have been a bit more generous.......I believe we only got a 4-5 ounce pour for a $9 glass. And the waitress never returned to ask if we wanted another glass or to check on us about our food.........would def not return :-(More

Stopped in during happy hour, ordered three appetizers. Ahi, totally average, Ray’s Vietnamese is still the best at ahi. Also had their calamari and crab cake. Yikes, I’m still trying to get the smell of the calamari seasoning off my hands. “Out damn spot”...overdone, inside...and out. Calamari is tender and this was tough and rubbery. Too much of the light seasoning. Ugh. The crab cake came as mush inside in three different temperatures ranging from cold to warm. Crab cake should be primarily crabmeat, not a soupy mix.More

Had dinner with a friend. The staff were very friendly and the service was very good. Food was very good. The Bistro is in a poor location but well worth finding.

Omg the sweet potato ravioli is delicious, you must try. I really loved it. The seafood chowder is very good. The scallops were perfectly cooked, melted in your mouth. The atmosphere is calm and quiet, what a good place for a date night. Our server...is kind and attentive. Our date night was very enjoyable, enjoyed the food and chit chat waiting for our main meal. Seafood risotto is very delicious and my filet mignon perfectly cooked. They brought me a steak knife as a courtesy.More

We are sitting here with quite a few other patrons. No one has received their food. There is food sitting under the hot lamps, but it's not completed. We are leaving since our server told us it was still going to be a while.

Last August, after a very successful fishing day in Seward, we went to the restaurant to see if they could cooked us the piece of halibut we had cut. (We had visited the restaurant the night before and had enjoyed our meal and the service.)...The manager, Ray Urea, accepted to cook the fish for us. He prepared the fish using his own recipe. It was a heavenly meal. Also, he gave us some great advice on how to vacuum pack our fish. Overall, food was great, servers where friendly, and the manager was a kind, caring professional. If you visit Anchorage, you should put this restaurant on your list.More

Some friends joined us for a delicious Sunday brunch where we took advantage of the outdoor seating and the beautiful weather. The music was a tad loud at first but the staff turned it down upon request. My husband and I ordered the delicious McKinley...Wrap and we were both very impressed with quality and quantity of our choice. There is a choice of sides that comes with the wrap, I enjoyed the fruit and my husband says the home fries were excellent. Our waitress was friendly and attentive, timely service and a great value brunch enjoyed in the company of friends.More

The atmosphere was nice, really. But the lack of clientele for an established restaurant told me I wasn’t the only one with my opinion. I paid $32 dollars for a small piece of frozen halibut, I could be wrong but it cooked like it had...been thawed. Part of the reason I selected the meal was the promise of halibut toppings of crab. The halibut came topped, but with crab crumbles and not a layer. Also promised and delivered was asparagus. Again, thinking of the price, I was disappointed that they provided five beautifully arranged skinny spears. For the price I expected healthy vegetables. My guest also had higher expectations for her meal too, selecting the halibut and fries. Small over-breaded deep fried chunks were not satisfying or tasty and also seemed thawed. A $24 meal all by it self, we felt the fries were pleasing but the basket was over priced. She summed it up in the parking lot, “We could have had a better meal at Denny’s.” ...especially for the price. I’m guessing that’s why the restaurant was very sparsely attended in the height of summer.More

I happened upon this restaurant while driving by and stopped in to browse the menu. I came back later with a friend for dinner and was extremely pleased with the service and the quality of the food. Prices were pretty reasonable, too.
