Located in downtown Anchorage, within walking distance from the Captain Cook hotel, Simons has a long established reputation for good food, service, and a beautiful view. It is truly Alaskan in style and decor. Menu is varied and French onion soup and crab dip is delish.

My significant other took me here for a beautiful lunch. The place is clean and very nice. We had an excellent lunch. Our waiter was great and so was the food. This is a must try place. You should dress up a little to eat here.

Ate at his restaurant over ten years ago and liked it. Returned to Anchorage this year and found the restaurant still has excellent service and quality food. I would recommend this restaurant on your Anchorage visit.....very scenic view on water and great food!

There was a 45 minute wait for a table or immediate seating at the bar. The bar was actually very nice. Tables available next to the window with a gorgeous view! I had halibut stuffed with (very little) King Crab, broccolini and garlic potatoes. It was average. Friends both had King Salmon with polenta, corn chowder and jicama slaw which... More

We are Anchorage locals. Simon's is always an excellent choice for a fantastic dinner. The food is wonderful and the view is fabulous. During our latest visit, the crusted halibut was out of this world! The scallop dinner and raw oysters were also excellent. Oh, and the salads were super good too.

Both my wife and I had delicious dishes. The Asiago almond crusted scallops were very good. The bread they served was also warm and delicious. We had a wonderful experience there.

The service was a bit slow, while friendly. Our view was gorgeous. The smoked salmon oyster Rockefeller app was not worth the effort. Practically no smoked salmon, save the $4 and get just the Rockefeller.

Our favorite here is their prime Rib! Always cooked to perfection. Also great seafoods and daily specials. Scratch Margaritas are a favorite of many of our friends. Wonderful crusty bread served too! Cream Brûlée is always a great finish to a meal!
