Food was great, regular coffee was refillable, atmosphere was very comforting. It’s a busy cafe, so make advance reservation.

After a few years break from coming to Anchorage, the quality of food and service had not changed. Fast, clean and still busy even at 7:30 am and the entire am. The only difference is the quantity. The portions are large and filling. Just not...humongous. Will keep returning to the Snow Cafe.More

Really great food and service. It was worth the 30 minute wait to get a table. The coffee is great, the skillet breakfasts are all great. We went to this restaurant 4 times in our 6 day vacation.

This was the first place we ate when we arrived in Anchorage, and I would have happily eaten here every day of our trip. There was about an hour long wait each time we went, so expect a wait no matter what day of time...you visit. The food was amazing from the oatmeal to the biscuits and gravy. The baked goods were fantastic as well, and they even sell them in a mini size if you don't want a huge pastry. It's definitely worth the wait and grabbing a coffee or hot chocolate at their to go bar is a great way to make the wait go by faster.More

We had a 30 minute wait. The service was great-food came quickly and cooked as we asked. Staff seemed comfortable with changes to menu from diners.

We’re told of a 30min wait. Took our coffees and waited and waited. After 25 min someone orders us all outside in the cold. When I check how much longer…..we are not on the list.

Went here for lunch before the airport to head home. Great turkey sandwiches. Most were ordering breakfast and everything looked great. We went at 1 pm and had to wait 20 minutes. No parking and had to pay $12 to park across the street. So...add $12 to your lunch or breakfast. Bummer.More

We waited over an hour and our breakfast was well worth the wait! You get complimentary coffee while waiting. Both my sister and I agreed that this was the best breakfast. My sister is hard to please how she likes her food prepared and she...proclaimed her breakfast was prepared to perfection. I was very happy with my breakfast.More

Loved the food but waited over an hour for a table. Service was good. There is a way to reserve tables because some skipped the lines. Would go back if we did not have to wait so long.

So much hype and discussion of long waits and really I'm not sure if it is worth it. We arrived relatively early for breakfast and there wasn't anyone waiting, but were told it would be a half hour wait and they would text us. Breakfast...was good, stuff French toast and their version of juevos rancheros, but not good enough to wait again. The staff were very nice and efficient. Not sure why the one door labelled "exit" was propped open the entire time (it was cold enough to take notice).More

I did not try a gluten free meal. However, the menu is marked with many, many items that can be prepared as a gluten free entree. I venture that any gluten free option would be tasty. I ate at this restaurant 4 times... More

Would suggest you arrive as early as possible - just so you can enjoy the experience and refills! Also, the lines will be at their shortest.
