Sunny side up since 1998! We're a popular downtown brunch spot where the staff is friendly, the food is tasty, and breakfast is served all day. Our mission is to use the freshest ingredients available and buy from local vendors whenever we can. Most everything we serve is made from scratch, and with plenty of love. We care about good food, our community, the environment, and making people happy. We offer a variety of vegan & gluten-free options, as well as a range of healthy choices. Come check us out, and see why Anchorage locals have voted us "Best Breakfast" in the Anchorage Press since 2003! Follow us on: Facebook, Twitter and Instagram with our handle @snowcitycafe!

After a few years break from coming to Anchorage, the quality of food and service had not changed. Fast, clean and still busy even at 7:30 am and the entire am. The only difference is the quantity. The portions are large and filling. Just not...humongous. Will keep returning to the Snow Cafe.More
This was the first place we ate when we arrived in Anchorage, and I would have happily eaten here every day of our trip. There was about an hour long wait each time we went, so expect a wait no matter what day of time...you visit. The food was amazing from the oatmeal to the biscuits and gravy. The baked goods were fantastic as well, and they even sell them in a mini size if you don't want a huge pastry. It's definitely worth the wait and grabbing a coffee or hot chocolate at their to go bar is a great way to make the wait go by faster.More
Went here for lunch before the airport to head home. Great turkey sandwiches. Most were ordering breakfast and everything looked great. We went at 1 pm and had to wait 20 minutes. No parking and had to pay $12 to park across the street. So...add $12 to your lunch or breakfast. Bummer.More
We waited over an hour and our breakfast was well worth the wait! You get complimentary coffee while waiting. Both my sister and I agreed that this was the best breakfast. My sister is hard to please how she likes her food prepared and she...proclaimed her breakfast was prepared to perfection. I was very happy with my breakfast.More
So much hype and discussion of long waits and really I'm not sure if it is worth it. We arrived relatively early for breakfast and there wasn't anyone waiting, but were told it would be a half hour wait and they would text us.
Breakfast...was good, stuff French toast and their version of juevos rancheros, but not good enough to wait again. The staff were very nice and efficient. Not sure why the one door labelled "exit" was propped open the entire time (it was cold enough to take notice).More
