We’ve been to about every Thai restaurant after eight years in Anchorage recently discovered Royal Thai. Not close to the house but worth the drive. Great for carry out. Dining in, when we could do that was ok. Service was great but decor was typical...for a strip mall Thai place.More

Highest quality ingredients (not fatty chicken thighs) when we ordered several chicken dishes. The veggie egg rolls are a MUST!!!

there were four of us that went here for the first time while in anchorage and the steamed veggies were almost raw and were cold, we ordered steamed potstickers and they were cold on the edges like they were frozen then thawed slightly in a...microwave the waitress brought us steamed riced that was delivered in a sandwich sized ziplock bag and the sticky rice tasted like the plastic bag, my little granddaughter loves sticky rice but wouldnt touch this one i ordered chicken fried rice and there was a long hair in it GROSS told the waitress and she just said she will tell the boss and we still had to pay for it what a waste of $40More

This is a small place, in a strip mall, with good and friendly service. The food is pretty ordinary.

We decided to try this place and after eating several bites that I thought were tasty, I saw a large black hair in my food. It was disgusting! I brought it to the servers attention and she took it and gave me a new dish...of food. After that I was leary and had to throughly watch what I was eating. The flavors were good, the portions were a bit small and the restaurant is quite plain.More

This is the best green curry I’ve had for awhile and I frequent Thai restaurants often. Broth was flavorful and full of veggies and chicken. Happy I found this place!

My wife and I met friends yesterday for dinner at Royal Thai (formerly Thai Town) and it was really fantastic. We all enjoyed our delicious Thai delicacies and every single bite was a real treat. Can’t wait to go back for more!

We tried Thai Town for lunch recently, and were pleased with the polite service and clean interior... the menu offers the usual array of appetizers, curries, noodle dishes, etc and we decided to sample their fresh rolls, soup, and a stir fried noodle offering. Our...order arrived without a long wait, and we found the tastes + preparation reasonably good. Enjoy!More

My first visit to this restaurant and also Alaska from Colorado. So surprise there is such an excellent Thai restaurant such as this! It is small with 8 tables, yet there’s a wonderful ambiance with beautiful decor. I had the Sea Galangal Soup which is...filled with ample amount of various seafood items and coconut milk. It was served with a bowl of rice. Yummmmmmy! The soup was served in a large bowl and shared with my husband. When we return, we shall visit this restaurant again.More
