I enjoyed my meal with fresh shrimp on a Thai rice-based dish with just enough flavor, not to hot. The bar tender was quick and attentive.

First of all, I am not trying to be a Karen. I just want to be honest about our experience. I want to preface this review with saying that our waitress was very kind, inviting, and helpful. We booked our dinner in an igloo about...a month in advance and my girlfriend and our friends have been really looking forward to this night out. First of all, we showed up early expecting that they want to run a tight schedule. They told us that our table would be ready in about 5 - 10 minutes. We didn't get seated until 6:45 (15 minutes after our scheduled appointment). Which is fine, but they only give 1 hour and 45 minutes to stay. We ordered drinks and appetizers and didn't even get our first drink until 20 minutes into our experience. The appetizers came about 30 minutes into our time. We ordered the fish and chips and tacos. The fish and chips came out... and there was only one piece of fish on top of a handful of fries. It was great tasting.. but I have never seen fish and chips come out as one piece of fish... so each of us (4) took one bite and ate some french fries. The tacos also came out as an underwhelming presentation. We thought the "Can O' Beer" concept was pretty neat.. always getting a beer of the bartenders random choice. We got three.. turns out the random choice is always Founder's IPA. (which also I'm not mad about because I love IPA's). However, here is my main complaint. We got our meals brought to us with 7 minutes of our remaining time that is allotted to us... followed by a quick "Do you guys want any dessert because we are going to have to close your checks as our time is coming to an end." Turns out to get your $30 back from your reservation you have to spend $125 over the evening. Which thankfully we did, but that just seems excessive. Also What? We literally got our food at 8:08 with our 6:30 reservation. She brought us our checks around 8:15 while we literally scarfed down our food. Around 8:20 she politely asked us to leave and my girlfriend wasn't even 2 sips into her final glass of wine. So we chugged all her wine and left. I really wish it was a different experience, but it is what it is. I think most people have a good experience, but ours was unfortunate.More

It is hard to believe that it took the pandemic for the idea of the igloos. I know they had two before. But. I think that this is a great idea for tourist. Tonight I took my wife here for her bday dinner. This restaurant...is so popular that it is hard to get a reservation. I would like to first thank Brian, the manager for keeping his word that if there was a cancelation that he would contact us. This is what he did and we are very thankful. This kind of manager gives a restaurant a good reputation. We were seated in our Igloo within minutes of our reservation time. The igloos are set up with 3 heaters and can hold up to 6 people. We started the evening off with a bowl of the seafood chowder. The chowder was very good. We also had a small ceaser salad. Our main course was the ribeye for myself. The steak was cooked perfectly and had mash potatoes and asparagus with it. It was very good. The wife had the seafood risotto. There was more than enough scallops and shrimp. She said the risotto was yummy, the scallops were tender. She loved her dinner. Finally we still had room for dessert. The wife had tiramasu and I had cheesecake turtle. Was out of this world. The service was outstanding, the price was very reasonable. I would recommend this adventure to anyone. Local or tourist.More

Unusual for a hotel to have the kind of bar I can comfortably afford and feel welcome. This bar hits the spot. Extremely friendly staff. Food very good and reasonable prices. Drink prices quite a pleasant surprise for a respectable hotel. Even some locals frequent...the place which is unusual for a hotel bar. Stayed at hotel for 5 nights and hit the bar before bed 5 nights. Bartenders awesome. Recommend even if you're not staying there.More

Enjoyed a fantastic dish of hummus paired with a wonderful Willamette Valley Pinot Noir as recommended by the Magnificent Martin - thank you! Also, Chef Alp created these amazing little caramel chocolate mini pie dessert bites that were amazing! The food and service never disappoint.

My husband and I had the omelette. I had vegetable omelette with bacon and it was perfect!! He had the meat lovers (it includes reindeer meat! 😱). He said it was great. Both came with one slice toast and perfectly cooked cubed home fries. Coffee...was perfect. Lovely nice restaurant! They serve breakfast on Sundays until 10 am.More
