We love Burrito King! (and the Taco Kings too) Good variety of Mexican dishes at a very reasonable price.

My husband and I eat here often. Portions are good. Price is reasonable. He often gets a burrito or tostada. I get the laquana ( beef tongue). He says the location is not the best. We go to the one on 38th near the library. Fast friendly service and clean . I encourage everyone to give this place a try.

We stopped in for the first time as we have heard it had good food. The place was clean and not many people at the time we were there - although several stopped in throughout our time there. They offer a good sized menu with plenty of options for just about all Mexican food fans. We ordered the tacos as... More

Burrito King is part of the Taco King restaurant family in Alaska. They have good food at reasonable prices. Many of the items that include ground beef or chicken can be upgraded to Asada (steak) for an additional charge. Place your order at the counter and listen for your number to be called.

They have some of the best Mexican I've had. It is really good. It tastes authentic and good quality.

Went though the drive thru today for lunch. The guy at window had zero ability to speak or understand English. He got the order completely wrong. Never said thank you. Nothing. My god man! This is not Mexico. You made it all the way up to Alaska, the least you could do is understand English and take the order correctly.... More

Stopped here for a quick bite. Ordered the carne asada burrito and needless to say, growing up in California has spoiled me with the best Mexican food in the world and this just didn't match up to my heightened taste buds. But I was hungry and needed something fast and it did the job!

My wife and I eat at Burrito King every once in a while. It is clean, spacious, well lighted, and the food is very good. We usually split a bowl of posole (hominy soup) and we each have one of their special tacos with carne asada. The soup is wonderful; it comes with a big portion of chopped cabbage, cilantro,... Has the steak combination. Food was good steak was flavorful and rice and beans good. The flour tortillas seemed old and stale. Bus bins were overflowing with dishes and tables were dirty. It was very much like a fast food joint.

Burrito King is my husband's favorite lunch stop in Anchorage. The prices are excellent and the Menudo reminds him of what his mama used to make. I love the homemade gorditas.
