Find this small, wonderful, restaurant. Service and food were delightful. Our greeter talked with his other guests and room was made for the four of us. We enjoyed the company of the other guests who made us feel welcomed. The food was prepared and presented with taste and the small cozy atmosphere was perfect after a busy day.

My sons and I had dinner here the first week of June. The dinner was very enjoyable. I had the Donar Kabab sandwich which was excellent. Only complaint on that was there was so much in the pita I had a hard time folding it and picking it up to eat. Nice first world problem to have. My older son had the lamb which he loved! There was not a piece of meat left on the bones. My younger son had the chicken kebab which he enjoyed as well. Surprising since he is very picky. We had baklava for dessert and it was incredible. Once again, my younger son enjoyed it! The service was excellent as was the atmosphere. It is a small restaurant which only added to the atmosphere.

Two of us went for an early dinner. We loved the old Turkish Delight and wanted to try the new version. The food was superb. Service was excellent. Some of the prices (like the Pirzola) went up quite a bit, but most were about what you would expect. Quantity is great. The new look is very nice but the bright lights make it hard to have a leisurely romantic dinner. I kept feeling like they wanted me to eat and move on (they didn't). Maybe that's the new style, but I would probably do take out and eat at home rather than endure the sunshine-bright lights.

This restaurant is a garden of culinary delights! There were a few of us and we split and sampled several dishes. Starting with the sample platter of appetizers, the lemony lentil soup, and the watermelon feta salad, we knew we were in for a meal of delectable goodness. And we were! The main courses, dessert, and ending with the pistachio coffee, topped off a food journey fit for kings and queens. Do yourself a favor and treat yourself to a meal at this fantastic, clean, authentic Turkish food restaurant.

The place has been remodeled and it looks beautiful. The ambiance is great and the food... I have no words: so good! I am also glad they have a lot of vegetarian options. The desserts are to die for. I had the rice pudding and was speechless but I also try something called burnt milk from my partner and it was equally good (or even better!). The people were very kind and helped us decide. We will definitely repeat!

I have never been to a Turkish restaurant before but I had heard about it from a friend and a customer and had to give it a try. I was very pleasantly surprised. The portion sizes were amazing.

Great neighborhood restaurant, authentic Turkish food. Super popular, inside was full, lots of carryout orders. Nice service. We all ate the Karides (shrimp with rice) and a green salad. Reasonably priced. We were staying in downtown Anchorage that was overrun with folks on vacation, very glad we ventured out a little bit!

I lived in the Middle East so I am pretty picky about my turkish food. This was pretty good. Definitely would revisit!

I don't typically have mediterranean food, but this was one of my family member's favorite restaurant. I was so pleasantly surprised. The chicken was delicious and the other members of my group loved the lamb. I would definitely visit again if I am in Anchorage.

We took away some food and it was absolutely delicious. Kebab, Dolma, vegetarian options-everything was really well done, like we traveled to Turkey again. And prices are so good. Recommended!

We love their middle-east food already, now with the current take-out-only mandate, it turns out their packaging is nearly all recyclable and/or paper. Bravo.

I had found reviews of this restaurant and having spent a favorite part of our life in Izmir, wanted to try it our next time in Anchorage. We were impressed. It is a small restaurant and the table configurations make it best to be a group of two or four and the wait is fairly long (but worth it). The fact that there were several Turkish guests there and the chef was Turkish helped make it more authentic. We sat at the counter and got to visit a bit with the chef. Our meals were delicious and filling. We liked that as people entered the restaurant, they were very honest about the length of wait time which caused many to leave. I’d love to see them add Turkish bean soup which I can’t seem to replicate at home. ( white bean soup with ekmek). It’s a simple menu which should have something to please everyone. Advice: don’t expand—-keep it small and a wonderful experience. Having a special each night or a weekly special of something authentic would be great. Oops, forgot to mention the calamari (although not squid as it was in strips)was excellent.

Stopped in for dinner upon arriving in Anchorage. We had been to a few Turkish restaurants and were excited to see this place. Turns out it was SIGNIFICANTLY more Mediterranean than Turkish. My wife ended up having the baba ghanoush which she liked and I had the shakshuka which I had never tried before. It was good. We split the spanakopita, which had both spinach and cheese. Hard to find one with both, and it was OK; looks like they fried them instead of baking them. Was very surprised that a Turkish restaurant didn't have pide or lahmancun. When I asked our server about having pide, she had no idea what we were talking about. The service was also just OK. She didn't come back to see how things were until we were done our meal however the busser did pre bus the tables. Prices were actually not bad for Alaska but we wouldn't stop back when we return. Overall, it was an OK meal.

This is a family favorite. We really enjoy the food. It is so fresh and well made. We love taking out of town guests here to eat. They make the best donor kebab I have ever had! Make sure you have time to wait for such delicious cuisine-this is no fast food restaurant! If I am planning to do a quick lunch meal, I always call my order in first, so that it will be ready for pick up at my lunch time.
