We took away some food and it was absolutely delicious. Kebab, Dolma, vegetarian options-everything was really well done, like we traveled to Turkey again. And prices are so good. Recommended!

We love their middle-east food already, now with the current take-out-only mandate, it turns out their packaging is nearly all recyclable and/or paper. Bravo.
I had found reviews of this restaurant and having spent a favorite part of our life in Izmir, wanted to try it our next time in Anchorage. We were impressed. It is a small restaurant and the table configurations make it best to be a...group of two or four and the wait is fairly long (but worth it). The fact that there were several Turkish guests there and the chef was Turkish helped make it more authentic. We sat at the counter and got to visit a bit with the chef. Our meals were delicious and filling. We liked that as people entered the restaurant, they were very honest about the length of wait time which caused many to leave. I’d love to see them add Turkish bean soup which I can’t seem to replicate at home. ( white bean soup with ekmek). It’s a simple menu which should have something to please everyone. Advice: don’t expand—-keep it small and a wonderful experience. Having a special each night or a weekly special of something authentic would be great. Oops, forgot to mention the calamari (although not squid as it was in strips)was excellent.More
Stopped in for dinner upon arriving in Anchorage. We had been to a few Turkish restaurants and were excited to see this place. Turns out it was SIGNIFICANTLY more Mediterranean than Turkish. My wife ended up having the baba ghanoush which she liked and I...had the shakshuka which I had never tried before. It was good. We split the spanakopita, which had both spinach and cheese. Hard to find one with both, and it was OK; looks like they fried them instead of baking them. Was very surprised that a Turkish restaurant didn't have pide or lahmancun. When I asked our server about having pide, she had no idea what we were talking about. The service was also just OK. She didn't come back to see how things were until we were done our meal however the busser did pre bus the tables. Prices were actually not bad for Alaska but we wouldn't stop back when we return. Overall, it was an OK meal.More
This is a family favorite. We really enjoy the food. It is so fresh and well made. We love taking out of town guests here to eat. They make the best donor kebab I have ever had! Make sure you have time to wait for...such delicious cuisine-this is no fast food restaurant! If I am planning to do a quick lunch meal, I always call my order in first, so that it will be ready for pick up at my lunch time.More
The food is excellent. Short menu but each dish is tasty and very high quality ( we ordered most of the menu and shared). The service is very attentive and fast. If I lived in Anchorage I would come here very often.
We had never had Turkish food before, this place is a wonderful little hole in the wall. Service was excellent and the food was delicious. A little on the higher end price wise for us but it was tasty. (1 beer, 2 mains l, and...1 order of baklava ended up being 55$) Fiance said the Baklava was the best he has ever had. Our favorite was the spicy beef kebab, i wouldn't consider it spicy but had great flavor.More
This was our second visit to this small, unassuming restaurant. The food is delicious, authentic and well presented. Our server was most attentive and offered useful suggestions on menu items. As I am sure you have read, leave room for the baklava. It is a...treat and one of the best I have ever eaten. The atmosphere is cozy since there are not a lot of tables. This makes things quieter but also may require you to wait a bit. Others said the food was slow to arrive but we did not have this experience. I highly recommend this little gem.More
Food and service 5***** We went on a Friday night at 6pm. It is a small restaurant so there may be a wait. They have wine and beer We started off with calamari yum Then had Falafel sandwich with salad And a Andam kabob salad...and rice Baklava It was our first time at this restaurant and will definitely return Thank you for a great date nightMore
Top 5 places to eat in Anchorage? Definitely! You won't get an extensive selection of a menu and that's fine. There is plenty of options with appetizers, salads, etc. The portions are plentiful so you won't leave hungry. The place is small and you can...make reservations, so keep that in mind. Bring along a book or phone for passing the time, especially if you bring children. Getting your food can take some time, which is a huge drawback if you are in a hurry. However, having the opportunity to visit with your dinner companion (s) and the food makes the wait worthwhile.More
