We had the sampler and all four were great choices. I loved the Bisque and the kiddo loved the Market Chowder. We also had the Manhattan and the New England chowder (I can't recall any NE chowder that was better). In short, all were fantastic and I will definitely go back for another round.

Great chowder but long lines. Really worth the wait though! They have a great variety of chowders and will give u samples. They chowder in the sourdough bread is the best value. The crab sandwich is also amazing!

I have to say the Chowder bread bowl is excellent but seating is very limited. We stood in line to place our order and lucked out that a couple of seats opened up at the counter right in front of us. Otherwise you just have to hunt around to find something. But it's worth the wait!

A Must for lovers of a decent New England Chowder! We have visited Seattle a year ago already and just had to come back not the least because of the amazing Food you can get here. Pike Place Chowder, I could go there every day!

Went there today. The food is fairly average. While the chowder is decent the bread and bread bowls are below par. Lots of people come here but seems very popular with the Asian tour groups.

I didn't expect much from an eastern chowder on a western coast. I stand corrected. I clearly understand why the have won so many east coast chowder awards.

Very good selection chowder and other soups with everything reasonably priced. I had the clam chowder which was very good, it hit the spot after an afternoon of wandering around the city. Only drawback is that the soups appear to use a heavy cream base so probably lots of calories, but if you don't mind the calories this place provides... More

Only had the chowder, which was so good I considered only eating chowder during my trip. The thickness was perfect, not watery but not so thick that the flavor is lost. Clams were abundant in the chowder with potatoes adding (and not overtaking) to the dish. Was a little difficult to get a seat, but once you have the chowder... More

Love the clam chowder, but they close at 5 pm which sucks, because I can only go on the weekends. The place is tiny and there isn't much room where to eat, so think of this place as somewhere where you can grab something and go and keep walking or just pray that there will be a place to sit.

Googled best chowder in Pikes and this place came up. Arrived to a line about 60 people long. Figured it must be worth the wait. Line took 17 min. moved surprisingly fast. Chowder was really good. Creamy with lots and lots of clams, and not too much potatoes or vegs. More soupy than thick and dense. Served with a couple... More
