My wife are I were in Washington visiting our daughter who is a soldier at JBLM. We stayed in Seattle and the Chowder and the Lobster roll was excellent. We will definitely eat there again on our next visit.
The chowder at Pike Place Chowder is the best you can get. So delish. It had just the right amount of clams to potatoes ratio. Many places try to provide a good tasting chowder but this place tops the list and I’m from the east...coast. You will not be disappointed!More
Pike place chowder is great. But everybody knows that so you have to get here really early for your lunch otherwise you’re gonna be standing in line for an hour. I don’t know if it’s worth waiting an hour but it’s worth waiting half an...hour for sure. Absolutely delicious food and the prices are reasonable. Service is good and fast so don’t be the person holding up the line.More
Let me start with the food... I tried a lot of different clam chowder while I was in Seattle. It just seemed like there should be good chowder by the water. Finally I found it here! This was one of the best meals I had...while in Seattle. My only disappointment was how rude the workers were. That part was a bit uncomfortable. Luckily, it was a quick interaction and the food made up for it. Definitely check this place out, it’s in a cool spot and the food was great.More
I ate at the one in Post Alley near Pike Place Market. The chorizo, crab & oyster chowder was delicious and is ready so quick. I came on a weekday, but if you come on the weekend, expect a line. Seating is limited due to...covid, but there are plenty of places to sit around the market and they give it to you to go anyway. Definitely the best chowder I've had.More

Celebrity Cruises & many other cruise lines dock at Seattle's Pier 91. Presuming you tied your question to the Pike Place Chowder listing with the purpose of visiting, the Chowder stand in Post Alley is approx. 3 miles southeast of Pier 91. The Pacific Place location on Pine Street is slight further away. Sporty walks, better to Uber or Lyft it. Stick with the chowder.
