I really enjoyed my experience. There are communication issues at time as the staff doesn't speak fluent English but they were very pleasant and dumplings were fantastic. I also ordered noodles and they were good but I highly recommend the dumplings and if you enjoy...spice try different sauces. It's a bit of hidden gem as it's essentially behind the original Starbucks so it can be a bit hard to find but I have had street food all over and really enjoyed this.More

Went there as it was advertised as high quality Chinese street food. All I can say is whoever said that has obviously never had high quality Chinese street food. The noodles were swimming in a tasteless sauce. In addition, someone in our group has a...nut allergy, so I asked the person behind the counter if the dishes we ordered contained nuts. She could not answer and asked the cook and of course he had no idea what she was asking. The dumplings were also tasteless and we left those back. The kicker for us was my 8 year old son picked up one of their business cards and then decided he wanted another one. The same girl behind the counter shouted at him that he could only have one. He almost burst into tears as no one in a restaurant has ever spoken to him like that for a card. All in all, a total waste of money and time with rude and uninformed staff. Save your money. Two noodle dishes, a bowl of [lain noodles and some soft drinks cost almost $35.More

Staff was very friendly and service was fast. Food was ok. I did not think it was exceptional . The dumplings were better than the noodle dish.

We were looking for a nice Chinese place to eat near the market. We thought we had found it with Country Dough. Unfortunately, it was not to be. Both the dumplings and noodles were unpleasant and we threw everything in the bin. A shame.

Had vegetable dry noodles, the main/only vegetarian option. The noodle quality was excellent and healthy portion size. Only wish there were more vegetarian options, but that’s not so unexpected at a Chinese restaurant.

This tiny place was difficult to find as it is tucked away in a very deep corner. Dumplings were good. Sauce was not too spicy but very flavourful. Not enough seating though. Friend lady at the counter.

Dropped in for lunch at Pike Place Market. Decided on Country Dough because of the counter seating available with cushy high top chairs with a back. Menu is well laid out in multiple languages. Great to see accommodating travelers from multiple countries. Ordered 2 items...and asked them to refill my water bottle. I ordered Pork Dumplings and the meat pie. Pork dumplings were great. Did not enjoy the meat pie. Dumplings were steamed and well filled. Tasty in texture and flavor. In the future I will likely order them in sauce rather than without sauce. The meat pie was rather large and really greasy. The photo they have on the menu shows it almost baked rather than deep fried to soggy. The meat inside had little to no flavor. In the future will likely come to here and order again, but dumplings of some kind rather than the meat pie.More

Pike Place Market is always a joy and one of the best establishments in Seattle. Country Dough is kinda tucked back in a corner of Post Alley. My eyes didn't catch it but my nose did. It smelled yummy so we ordered the pork dumplings...and the Szechuan noodles and ate at the park. They were both really good. Service was friendly, and place is clean if a little cozy. We'll be back again!More

Get the combo! It comes with 7 or 8 pork dumplings plus the dry noodles. I got the Szechuan chicken and the spice was just right. We followed a local to find this very small hidden restaurant at the back of the shopping area and...were happy we did. Way more food than one person could eat; I wish we could have taken it to go for another meal. It was essentially fast food as it was almost ready by the time I finished paying. Would definitely go back - my husband would love the authenticity of the dry noodles.More

The hand shaved noodles here are delightful. Even on a busy weekday lunch time they were fast and efficient. I had the Szechuan Dry noodles with chicken, the sauce was pleasantly light and spicy and not over bearing with some fresh leafy greens thrown in....Would definitely recommend for a quick bite as there basically no seating here. Mostly counter service.More
