This restaurant has an ambitious approach that exceeds expectations. Located in a market space in downtown Seattle - the former industrial use is still evident but is overlayed with a fine dining service that is uniquely the product of this vibrant city and the resources...More

Located in the back of the Melrose Market, Sitka & Spruce is a culinary delight. An excellent spot for a romantic dinner, or to celebrate with friends. The menu and bar rotate regularly based on season and availability. Cocktails all around! Yum! The food was...More

I just had maybe my tenth lunch at Sitka & Spruce, and feel compelled to share my thoughts. I live in Seattle, and my office is right down the street. A coworker and I discovered this place by accident a couple of years ago and...More

Table of 7 of us. Waiter was excellent, friendly and had great recommendations. We brought 2 bottles of our own wine. Then ordered a variety of 5 appetizers which we shared at our table. We did the same with 3 entrees, which proportionally worked out...More

Perfect afternoon lunch spot located in a small, mordern, old-world market reminiscent of Chelsea Market in NYC. Unbelievably delicious food - interesting combinations that execute in a very easy-to-eat kind of way. Very friendly staff. The Bloody Mary is to-die-for. A must-do in Seattle.

My friend and I stopped in to check out the shops and choices in this fabulous building near the really cool Starbucks on Pine. So glad we did. We were a little skeptical about the menu because of the interesting choices were not atypical of...More

I would go between 3-4 stars if it was an option. This place is a little tricky to find, and parking in that area is just a pain. The food is good, but not great, so not sure that all the effort is worth it...More

My two appetizers were fabulous, even tho the waiter tried to talk me out of one of them. My companion's dinner was just so-so in every way except the price. And $6.50 for bread? REALLY?

The most impressive elements of this restaurant are its unique design of the kitchen being part of the dining room and also the fact that many (if not all?)items are grown on their farm, which is amazing. But the menu is executed sometimes in unusual...More

At best the place was acceptable. For the price I expected better...much better.. The 3 star rating was because for a table of 4 we spent $542 including tip and none of us thought the quality was high enough to merit the price. We went...More

Yes. At least when we were there. There were 3 "main" dinners, but we sort of just ordered 3 various app/sides and they came out in courses as our dinner. It was a little different, but the food was top notch. Beautiful... More
