On a Tuesday night we had 8 pm reservations for dinner with high expectations and were not disappointed. Our table was ready when we arrived a few minutes early and the immediate attention from our server was prompt and frequent but never pushy or hurried. The wine list is good, though not extensive, and reasonably priced. Ms. had the rack... More

Located in an old warehouse that has been renovated and transform into a gallery of small food and artesanal shops, you will find a cozy little restaurant at the rear. The kitchen is wide open with a big family table nearby. The food is delicious and beautifully presented. The service is polite but friendly. A must if you are visiting... More

I made reservations about a week before we dined here and by then, the only times available were 5pm or 9pm! We chose the earlier dinner as we were planning to meet up with friends after. I really didn't know what to expect going in, but it was a wonderful experience. Not recommended for those who are not comfortable trying... More

We had booked 2 months earlier during the planning of our trip to Seattle from France. It was our first night in USA, we were completely jet lagged and tired. Our waitress was absolutely charming and helped us make our choice with good suggestions to taste a little bit of everything, and advised a good wine pairing for both of... More

We went for brunch and couldn't believe the prices. The food is totally average tiny portions and nothing crazy except for the morels, quite expensive but at least a little more original. Totally disappointed!

We tried several items on the menu and were extremely pleased with everything ordered. The menu isn't large and changes often but this allows the chef to concentrate on just a few items. Wow, what a great meal. Such a gourmet experience.

Another trip downtown on the light rail to visit this well known and regarded small plate restaurant. Started with shigoku oysters with mignonette. Interesting combination of vegetables including roasted asparagus with walnut purée, potatoes with squid ink finishing with halibut and seaweed. Very nice late harvest rosé for liquid dessert.

Unique setting. Sat at long table with other guests. Still good for conversation among the four of us. Food served "family style" but really small plates. All the food was excellent with very unique flavor. Tried the sponge cake and cinnamon rolls from the breads and pastry menu, then the herb frittata and pain Perdue from the pantry menu and finally... Based on my cursory reviews, we thought, well great food, dress nicely, but we could have worn jeans. Anyway, the staff was wonderful. I brought wine from my cellar, and that was not a problem. We ordered a few small plates and an entree. I would go back as it is a fun place, I enjoyed the casual setting, and... More

This trendy spot tucked away off Pike & Pine creates a warm atmosphere and serves up root vegetables, meats and cheeses in ways you've never imagined. They are intentional, precise, and the staff clearly delights in informing you about their cooking practices and the detail tended to each dish. Worth the steep prices, excellent for a birthday or anniversary. It... More
