Three of us dined here 07-31-16, our first night in Seattle. Four years ago we dined here and it was our definite first place to dine this trip. It did not disappoint. I noticed they have added a deck since my last visit and this is where we dined. We each ordered the Tartare de bœuf et sa salade à... More

Was afraid this was going to be all about French Press coffee - but no. Great selection of pastries on a weekday morning, but the best was the Oeufs plate (eggs). Baked in a skillet over shaved ham were two over easy eggs covered with guyere cheese. Served all bubbly hot and delicious. For accompaniment was as much French baguette... More

Being a fan of Le Pichet, I decided to try its sister establishment, Cafe Presse. I was not disappointed. The food was delicious, and the service was very friendly. My biggest complaint was that I didn't have room for dessert. Ah well, c'est la vie!

Excellent dining experience for reasonable cost! We had a delicious roasted chicken dinner, a bottle of wine, appetizer and salads, plus a wine bottle to go for $123 for 2. For a meal of this caliber in Seattle, it was an unexpected surprise!

This is a wonderful place to eat on Capitol Hill. A nice simple, French bistro in Seattle. The food is very good. The service is pleasant. It needs to be on your list of places to eat in the city.

I've always enjoyed my visits to Cafe Presse. Good French food, not too fussy, with a decent wine selection. If you're looking for a casual bistro-type experience, away from Downtown, I recommend stopping by. I almost always get steak frites, and it is done well here.

My husband and I went out of our way to visit the Seattle University Neighborhood on South Capitol Hill for breakfast at this French bar/cafe. We are great fans of French food and enjoy trying this cuisine throughout the city. The menu, though limited, looked promising. I ordered a yogurt with honey and walnuts ($5.75) and my husband chose the... More

The perfect little cafe. Excellent coffee, a small but well curated cocktail list, and a truly parisian menu. Crusty bread, delicious rillette, crispy frites, the whole 9. Cheap too. If I lived in Seattle, I would go here once a week.

We came in because they had free WiFi, and ended up having the most amazing lemon curd tart. I later found out that we stumbled onto one of Seattle's best cafes. The service was great.

This cafe could be on the left bank of Paris in the student quarter. Very reasonably priced dishes, presented simply but well. The staff is always efficient and friendly. The place is bustling like French bistro, with scurrying wait staff and animated discussions. The croque monsieur and croque madame are delicious. The baguettes are terrific, although not as light as... More
