The Steelhead Diner had been recommended to us by some friends of friends who live in California. The diner is situated very close to Pike Street Market which is possibly the tackiest place to visit in this lovely city. However, we were hungry and decided to go in for lunch as the place seemed really busy. Reception staff were friendly... More

Went to this restaurant because it was nearby and were really shocked at how good the food is. We had the pork belly dish to start! Wow! Best I've ever had anywhere! Sweet and savory. Several loved their fish and chips dinner while I had the black cod dinner and just loved the taste. Good service hear as well. Not... More

Our hotel suggested eating here, great choice. The menu was innovative and unusual. There was so much choice. I had the shrimp and crab tater tots and crispy pork. The tater tots were amazing and filling so I really struggled to finish the meal. The potatoes with the pork were perfect. My wife had the smoked salmon cake and the... More

The seafood was great. Had choices of trout, sole, black cod, fish and chips. One of our group had the steak and it was delicious and huge! The desserts were wonderful and big enough to share.

I had dinner at the Steelhead Diner twice during my recent stay in Seattle. While the prices are a little higher than I'd prefer, the food is amazing! Everything we ordered was delicious and the staff was friendly and helpful.

The Food: The trout dish at $19.99 is great value and well prepared. The $40 salmon was not uniformly cooked and pricey for the amount provided. The cutlery came dirty with some sort of the brown goooo staining the white napkin that they came wrapped in. What a chore for the server to replace. Just like pulling teeth. The automatic... More

Our server was really nice, the manager? left a little to be desired. She was rude, shouting across the restaurant t our ultimate server, when we asked for outdoor seating or anyplace in the window. Food was average.

Food is tasty but way overpriced and service is pretty horrible, probably because of included 20% gratuity. Three cups of soup a beer and an appetizer..... Seventy dollars!

Some of the best fish and chips I've ever had. THE BEST clam chowder. Located right in Pike's Place next to Post Alley. Crab and shrimp tater tots were delicious.

We enjoyed lunch on the patio (without a view) at the Steelhead diner. We really enjoyed the Clam Chowder which was robust and creamy. This was our second time to visit this restaurant and although the food is good, we did find the food and drinks a bit pricey for lunch.

Thank Peppygal
