Fabulous fare from a happy hour menu that offers more than 3 choices at 50% off until 6:30 pm. House wine is $5 or beers $4. We had grilled cede radar with house made croutons and dressing, veal carpaccio that just melts, rigatoni al Ragu with just the right spiciness and of course Tiramus

The ambiance is perfect for a romantic dinner or just a night out. Great service...the hostess and servers were outstanding. I ate at a table in the bar and had superb service even though I was on my own. They went out of their way to make me comfortable and attended to. The food was delicious! Had the crab pasta... More

Family of four, me, my wife and our almost adult kids. Went there on a Thursday night and from the moment on that we've entered the place, it was a top notch experience. The staff was very committed to make sure we were doing fine, the advice on the wine was not referring to the most expensive wines on the... More

We were a family group of 10 and the restaurant gave us a private alcove to dine in. The service & food were excellent. We had two pasta dishes that were given a rave review by the ten of us. We all enjoyed everything we ordered. It's right downtown Seattle and close to hotels.

Had an amazing experience at this popular higher end italian restaurant. Food was excellent and wine selection was great. Cool atmosphere and their bar area is a busy place. Service was prompt and courteous. Met the general manager who was eating right next to us. Fairly nice selection of foods on their menu and price points on the higher end,... More

I'm a vegetarian so menus can be slightly limited for me, however I had several choices. I really enjoyed my meal except who puts squirty cream on Affogato dessert?? It supposed to be mascarpone! Having said that it was a great meal on what was my last night in Seattle. I'm happy to recommend this Italian and on my next... More

We had never eaten at Barolo, and after hearing rave reviews for quite a few years, we decided to try it. We were not disappointed at all. Our reservation were for 7:00 p.m. We had requested a booth. Unfortunately, the people occupying the booth before us decided to linger over coffee. But we decided to persevere, and had a cocktail... More

We passed and saw the pasta menu. We were anxious to try the pasta with crab. It turned out to be an excellent dish with excellent flavour. The wine list is extensive but there was an excellent sangiovasi from Romagna. Proving you don't have to target Tuscany or Piedmone for good Italian wines. The service was good and we enjoyed... I ate here during a recent international conference with colleagues from all over the world. We were a party of about twenty people and they graciously accommodated us at two long tables. Have an extensive menu with wonderful pastas and a good choice of meat and seafood entrees, sourced with fresh local ingredients when possible. I tried the "Penne con... More

My wife and I had dinner on a friday night and it was pretty busy. That said, we had sufficiently attentive service and the server really had a nuanced knowledge of the menu AND the wine selection. One of the specials that night was a prosciutto ravioli that was absolutely perfect and it paired perfectly with the frizzante rose that... More
