Close to the Westin downtown, this is my new favorite restaurant for fine dining. The service is exquisite, as it the menu and atmosphere. Big city yet cozy vibe. Cannot recommend this restaurant enough

Visiting family in Seattle and went here for dinner. We were greeted at the door by a very friendly coat check young lady and taken right to our table. Our waiter Kevin was very attentive and kept our glasses full and food coming out at a pace that fit right in with our relaxed attitudes. The food was amazing and... More

Had our party of 8 in a small alcove that was private. Waiter was funny and attentive. Golden beet salad was simple and fresh. Lobster risotto was a huge portion and very rich. Paired beautifully with a barbera. Even though I don't eat out for Italian often, I always look forward to coming here!

Varied and well prepared menu and fabulous wine list. The service is attentive without being invasive. One draw back is the candle on the table -which my companion accidentally used to set the menu afire. The waitress waved it off and said it happens often - but more excitement at dinner than I'm used to! The atmosphere is typical Seattle... More

The place looked packed when we arrived, and had no reservations, but we were able to be seated within ten minutes. The restaurant had a comfortable, but not stuffy feel, and did not pack in tables super close. We had a fantastic server who made good recommendations on food, but was not pushy about them. His Pinot recommendation was excellent.... More

We stopped in on a whim on a wet Monday night for dinner and found we had stumbled into something special. Opened with the caesar salads with anchovies then graduated to the pheasant and top sirloin entrees. Finished up with the bread pudding and a red wine rinse. It was a nice casual dinner on a no-hurry night.

My wife and I recently celebrated our 48th wedding anniversary with dinner at Barolo. Although it was a Tuesday night, we had to wait (standing) for 25 minutes for our table. Meal started out ok. My wife loved her grilled romaine salad, and my sautéed calamari were cooked well but, to be frank, pretty boring. My meal went downhill from... More

This on the edge of downtown Italian restaurant is modern, classy and has pretty good food. The bar is nice and is hopping during happy hour. This is worth a try if you are in downtown.

Made reservations online for a dinner prior to attending the ballet. The atmosphere is romantic and cozy. Our waiter was excellent, recommending a wine which was exactly what we like. Very attentive and gave many helpful suggestions for our first visit there. We ordered several apps and highly recommend the grilled calmari, for dinner the roast duck and also the... More
