When I saw that this was listed as the best French toast in Seattle, I was a bit skeptical. BUT WOW. They were AMAZING! I ordered the half order of french toast with the topping of the day, poached pears. I added some strawberry jam...to it, and it was so delicious (texture was perfect). My boyfriend ordered the Kick Butt Chili, and we shared a side order of hashbrowns (the combination of these two was also very good). I'm happy we stopped by on our trip, and I would definitely return for that french toast! It can get a little noisy during peak hours, but I liked the music selection so I wasn't too bothered.More

We finally made it to Geraldine's. We've driven past it so many times and noticed the long lines. Now we know why. I had the special of the day which was carmelized onions, bacon, arugula and goat cheese. I enjoyed every bite. My wife enjoyed...her avocado, pepperjack omelet with sour cream and salsa. She actually finished the whole plate, which is a big deal for her.The only bad thing would be the hashbrowns. It was a bit oily, so maybe another side order will do. It's a must stop if you're in the Seattle area.More

We love Geraldine's. It's a great little, local breakfast spot. If you can deal with the line-ups - it is worth the wait. Enjoyable classic breakfast options and good service with a diner type vibe. What more could you want?

We were visiting Seattle and our friends suggested we have lunch at Geraldine’s Counter. I had a really hard time choosing from all of the great options. With help from an exceedingly server, I finally chose the Geraldine’s Casserole. The combination of ingredients tasted great....My wife had the innovative chicken pot pie with a biscuit top. My only complaint was the noise level. It was really difficult having a conversation during lunch. I would definitely return though to try the Mac & Cheese, the chili, or the grilled cheese sandwich.More

We were four of us for lunch. The sandwiches were very good but the noise was great that we had a hard time just talking with each other

Three friends and I stopped in for brunch before heading to downtown Seattle for the day. We shared a couple breakfast dishes as well as the a fresh made coffee cake. The coffee cake came warm and melted in our mouth. We upgraded to the...French toast on one plate and it was absolutely delicious. We would go back in a heartbeat the next time we’re in the area!More

First time here as family were apartment shopping and thought we would grab breakfast here. Guaranteed wait to get in but worth it. Staff friendly and provided great service. Had the spinach goat cheese omelette with the added smoked salmon. It was wonderful. Only served...breakfast and lunch but you can order anything on the menu all day long while they’re open.More

Not only did we live our meals we loved how the staff and owner welcomed my daughter who has Down syndrome. Way to be inclusive while serving great food. Breakfast is my favorite meal there. It’s jot in my neighborhood but it’s worth the 20...minute drive for us.More

I'm big on breakfast & Geraldine's did not disappoint. French toast is my "go to" breakfast plate & Geraldine's stepped up. Located in the Columbia City area of Seattle, south. Does get crowded on the weekends, so be early or be prepared to stand in...line.More

It looks to me like the 'question' is actually a statement that the user does not want Columbia City in their search. A valid request, it may be a distance from their usual driving paths.
