Geraldine's is very popular - there is always at least a short wait, except at night. It is a little loud, but is very social and friendly place, and people are having a good time. They offer breakfast all day which endears them to me. The menu has great variety and the kitchen turns out good dishes - lots of comfort... More

We went during a layover in Seattle. We were looking for a slice of pie from A La mode Pies. We were lucky enough that we had a choice of 2 pies because they get their pies on Tues which is when we were there. We went for a late dinner so there was no wait. Our waiter was friendly... More

Took the family there while staying in Columbia City, Seattle. It was super close to our AirBNB next to Seward Park. So may delightful choices for breakfast. I think we all had something different and shared with each other. We had a great experience. I think traveling alone or as a couple this is a Five Star place, but for... More

We went for breakfast on a weekday, mid morning. Be prepared to wait for a table for 20-30 minutes. The line was that long. However, the wait was worth it. We each ordered a breakfast and two of us substituted a biscuit. While the breakfast was very good, the biscuits were heavenly. Do not pass on this for the small... More

We travel to Seattle about once a year to visit Family. I've stopped at Geraldines three times now for Breakfast. My husband loves the French Toast. I love the Counter Special. The atmosphere is a fun urban experience!

About once a month we head down the street to Geraldine's for breakfast. It's always busy, always tasty, and the service good. It's nothing fancy, just your average American breakfast with a sometimes Mexican, sometimes Southern spin.

Geraldine's is a busy breakfast place in the Columbia City area. I am from the South, and I have had plenty of biscuits and gravy in my life. This was by far the best I've ever had! the plate also came with eggs and hashbrowns. Also, the sour cream pancakes, which were the pancake of the day, were fabulous. I... More

their French toast is the best French toast I ever had. It's different than usual French toast - it is more crunchy, but I think it is what make it special. Overall, their breakfast food is good. Expect a long waiting line on the weekend.

Whatever you take is gonna be delicious. Nice ambient and our waiter was always smiling even with a hardly managable number of people. The food was soooooo good, the eggs the toast the bacon. Also the grapefruit juice. I loved it.

Went to Geraldine's on a Sunday morning around noon. The restaurant is in Columbia City, which is a colorful, ethnically diverse neighborhood with lots of interesting shops and restaurants in the immediate vicinity. First, let me say that I will drive for miles (30 in this case) for any restaurant that serves real maple syrup instead of the brown goo... More
