went there for breakfast on a Sunday, there was no line, and we were seated in the bar area.We ordered and the food arrived 1 hour later! we asked the server if they were short handed in the kitchen or something. Her response was ''we had a 10 top come in and it was 20 meals at the same time'' So basically the... It is very clear that the owners pay a lot of attention to detail: from the decor, the cleanliness to the artisan jams. That is certainly compensating for the lack of atmosphere typical for smaller breakfast joints and the lackluster surrounds. The food was quite good, especially the shredded hashbrowns, which aren't served very often anymore. The jam was delicious... More

Are you hungry? If the answer is, “Why absolutely, I’m starving!,” then check out the Ballard Bridge Café. Serving sizes are astoundingly HUGE!! I have been here many times, and I always order the same thing: two buttermilk pancakes (which are as large as dinner plates), two eggs cooked over-easy, and two slices of the best bacon you’ll find this... Ballard Bridge Cafe took over the space formerly run by a burger chain. They are a much better fit for the neighborhood, and they always welcome you like an old friend. Their lunches are just okay, but breakfast is what they excel in: Generous portions, very flavorful options, with their Bridge French Toast - a heart-stopping combo of deep-fried peanut... More

We went for breakfast here today and one thing went wrong after another. First, three different servers asked us if we wanted something to drink and we kept explaining that we placed an order with the first person. Eventually, we had to flag someone down to get a coffee and a tea, because the first server never followed through. Second, the... More

This was my second visit to this place for brunch. I have to say, it doesn't disappoint. The staff is friendly and the food was pretty darn good. I don't think anyone left disappointed or hungry!

Very good local restaurant for breakfast and lunch. Good friendly service, they get a lot of regulars. The only thing they need to do is improve the quality of their rib-eye steaks.

The minute I walked into the cafe I wanted to turn around and leave. The waitress, who is apparently the owner, finally greeted me and was pleasant enough. I thought better about staying. The menu was extensive AND expensive. I opted for an early bird breakfast which was their house made $7.95 corned beef hash vs the $13.95 I would... More

Went there with my husband and grown daughter on a sunny Saturday morning. Great large windows allow lots of light, great decor with a contemporary yet comfortable vibe. There is a full bar hidden behind a partial wall, bloody mary's for breakfast! We were seated immediately and offered free samples of orange juice. 3 pages of breakfast items to choose... More
