We've been to Pomodoro many times and were horrified to realize the 1918 holiday season was the last time we were there. Quickly remedied with another fantastic visit last Saturday night we found Pomodoro's as good as ever. Chef Tony makes everything in house and...his attention to detail is just fab! His olive oil, the way he re-processes his olives, smokes his salt, slices the octopus, everything! The mushrooms amaze, Al dente hummus ravioli and sauce is finished to perfection and our order of fresh dungeness crabmeat with dill Champagne sauce was to die for. Love this place!More

We had a wonderful dinner here to celebrate our niece who is in the Army. She played the piano and sang here every Sunday nine years ago. The owner came out to talk to her and asked her to play. We enjoyed wonderful pasta dishes,...great service, and some of us even had room for dessert! The best treat though was having our niece play! Now that's dessert!More

This beautiful cozy place catches you since the moment you step inside and smell what’s cooking. Delicious!!! The owners greet you and make you feel at home. We had a table by the window and had the most wonderful meal of our trip. Had the...perfect Negroni!!! The food is amazing!!! I had a Cesar Salad and linguini with crab that were spectacular !!! Great wine selection. It’s one of those places where you don’t want the food to finish. And their desserts were wonderful!!! I had the best Tiramisu ever!!! Would love to go back and really recommend this amazing place!!!!More

One of the best meals in Seattle! The food is authentic. Great tapas and Italian. The aromas from the kitchen are the best! We thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience!

I went there recently with my son and his wife. It was crowded and a bit loud, but the food was delicious. Once I got to eating I forgot about the other people or noise. Not cheap, but first class all the way.

The menu already has vegetarian-friendly items but they were even accommodating for vegans. I was assured the gnocchi are vegan so I ordered the mushroom gnocchi without the Italian sausage and without Parmesan. They usually charge extra for portobello mushrooms on top but since I...wasn’t ordering the sausage they didn’t charge extra for mushrooms!More

Selected this restaurant due to central location and generally positive reviews to meet a friend. We had moderate expectations. However, we were very surprised by the great service and outstanding food. Our entire party all agreed it was a gem. Most of the family owned...restaurants in our area (Bellevue/Kirkland) are long gone. Sterile and "hip" restaurants are boring and cold. Pomodoro had a comfy/welcoming feel- the other diners were clearly enjoying themselves. My halibut was the best restaurant prepared I've had. Most places under cook or dry it out. And, the prices were very reasonable for the food quality. We will be back soon!More

We love this place! The spicy olive oil drizzle is amazing on any dish! Antonio is super friendly and knowledgeable. We always come here for special occasions.

Food very average. Lack of investment and very dated. Overpriced and unhygienic. Manager extremely rude. Won’t be going again.

We'd been to a similarly named restaurant nearby (or possibly the same restaurant) many years ago and not liked it at all. But we had friends visiting and wanted a restaurant nearby. We looked at reviews and decided to give this a try. We were...very pleased with our choice. The food was quite good and the service was attentive and personable. I had paella which, compared to what I have eaten in Spain, might not have been authentic but was delicious. The seafood was fresh and substantial, the pancetta added spice, and the rice was well-seasoned though did not have the socarrat that is so valued by many. Another had the sautéed portobello mushrooms and the grilled calamari. I was allowed a taste of each and found them both delightful. Our server was around when needed but not intrusive. He also had a sense of humor which added to the enjoyment of the evening. Pomodoro has a casual atmosphere that seemed family-friendly. Though fairly quiet when we arrived around 6:30, it did become noisy as the restaurant fills, though certainly no louder than many busy restaurants. I noticed mostly 4-tops but a group of about 8 was accommodated. I'm glad it's in my neighborhood as I will certainly return again.More
