Embrace witty banter between strangers with your friends Jameson and Guiness. This is a hidden gem of the Pioneer Square neighborhood. Leave your illusions of 'just having one' at home.

Had a work meeting here and loved the atmosphere. We were there early (around 2pm) so it wasn't very busy when we got there. The meeting lasted until 5 and it was starting to get very busy. That's a good sign that you have found a great place.

This pub has good reviews and was recommended by our tour guide, but on the afternoon we went, we found it had very little atmosphere, poor service and the recommended fish & chips were definitelly sub-par. On this showing we would certainly not return.

Found this pub on a cobblestone street in close proximity to pikes market. Great atmosphere as a sounders soccer game was on and the fans were coming in to support their team. Food was great and large selection of beers as well. Definitely going back again!

Tucked down on a side street this is a clean dive bar with mostly locals. Cheap happy hour prices on food and drinks, and I had some great fish and chips and a beer for only 10 bucks. No outdoor area, and not fancy, but good for what it is.

A day spent in Seattle, after hours at the Pike, we stopped in at Owl 'n Thistle for an early supper, it was happy hour (a 4-7pm event) so we decided this wound be a great rest stop. I had the beef stew, which was hot and delicious served with dark Irish bread. My husband had the fish and chips!... More

A local friend of mine recommended the Owl 'N Thistle, knowing my fondness for pubs like those I came to know in England, and I was not disappointed. A little off the beaten track but still right in the heart of downtown Seattle, the Owl 'N Thistle can be a bit difficult to spot since there aren't many other restaurants... More

Just a block away from Pioneer Square, I stopped here for dinner. They have some really good happy hour specials. The $5.25 fish and chips was cod and it was very good. The dill tartar sauce was tasty as well. The portion was quite ample, thought not huge, which was fine, as you'll want to wash this down with a... More

This place isn't a typical tourist bar, but rather more of a commuter place for those waiting to catch a ferry home. The Happy Hour menu is abbreviated, but definitely great, especially the fish and chips. You can eat and have a decent pint for under $10. On some nights, there is a small stage for live music, after Happy... More

Been here twice. My brother and I came here on a Saturday evening. There was a private party that had a large room reserved and they seemed to have the focus of most of the servers. It was actually very similar to some larger pubs in Ireland, you may come in and sit down and appear to be invisible until... More
