This was one of our favorite restaurants for brunch but we have been twice this past month and have left disappointed. The first time we had great service (actually incredible service) but my food was really salty. Sometimes there is an off day in the...More

We decided to try a bunch of small plates; calamari, oysters, mackerel, and grilled vegetables. All were great, and left enough room for desert, banana crepe brûlée and s’mores. A couple of signature cocktails, made for perfect dinner. The restaurant is pretty open so it...More

All pros, no cons. 1. Nice room-casual but cool. 2. Lots of small plates that are perfectly suitable for sharing. There are many to choose from, and they are all inventive and delicious. 3. Great service.

This restaurant had it all. Great ambiance, nice menu including unique cocktails. And the service was excellent. So many good choices on the menu led us to share many small plates at our table. Plan ahead as this reservations get booked quickly.

We were last here two years ago and returned because of our recollection of their sensitive touch with sustainably harvested pristine fresh seafood. Our meal this trip was over-the -top with flavor and interesting interpretations. The Point Judith calamari was served in a Chinese restaurant-style...More

We had a concert on a Sunday night in the U-district, so I looked for highly-rated restaurants within a reasonable distance. The reviews for this place were all stellar, and the menu looked interesting, so we made reservations for my husband and myself, plus my...More

Description
Our menu centers around globally sourced seafood from well managed fisheries; with offerings of local Northwest familiars like crab, oysters and mussels, to more tropical fish like Kona Kampachi or Hawaiian Ono, and East Coast staples like Striped Bass. Our preparations emphasize fresh ingredients that arrive daily, and pronounced flavors from around the world. Our urban-industrial two-story 'fishing lodge' was built with local and reclaimed resources by Dovetail Construction and Marian Built. Our tables were crafted from bark-beetle pine, and we even found a home for our favorite repurposed farm equipment! Our space includes the main dining area, our killer bar, a large modern patio and an upstairs loft and private dining room.
