Met some friends there for a drink and ended up staying for dinner. We weren't disappointed. Could be the best Mac N Cheese I've had.

Decently cool place. Fast and friendly service. Drinks were fine. Prices were a tick on the higher side, but not bad for a decent place. We just had a couple drinks there. My family lives in West Seattle and Sis in Law wanted to check it out. My brother didn't really have an opinion of the place. She and I... More

Enjoyable, friendly atmosphere where West Seattle locals hang out. Bar/restaurant with great food choices. Nice happy hour starting at 4:00. Try the Mai Tai! Hummus plate a good healthy HH choice. Burgers and the usual offerings. Great BLT, Mac and cheese. A great choice in the Junction of West Seattle.

Not fancy or fu fu, just great Americana food that you don't always get these day. I ordered a Halibut Sandwich that was very fresh, not deep fried, and very tasty with a side of, yummy to the tummy potato salad. Oh boy!

There is a vibe to West Seattle. It's relaxed. It's real. It presents a friendly and welcoming face. One of the first places we hung out as we moved into the "hood" was West Five, a California Avenue institution. We had our Granddaughter with us, and although we had rarely visited, the long-time recognized our special guest and then welcomed... More

I love this place. I love their food, I love their drinks, I love the vibe, I love the location. It's right in the West Seattle Junction and it's the kind of place you go anytime: lunch, happy hour, dinner, a night of drinking with friends, or just a quick post-jog pint of Manny's Ale (me several times when I... We checked out this place because we were staying a few blocks away and needed a cost effective dinner. The prices were reasonable and the service was good. The food was so so. Before I share our food experience, I want to say that this is a local dive bar/restaurant so if you want to get a local experience stop... More

A favorite local bar. Great drinks and food. Love the mac and cheese as well as the BLT. Try the Mai Tai or the Dark and Stormy. Good happy hour too. Fun wait people. In the heart of West Seattle.

I visited West Five for lunch. My first time. The atmosphere is fun and the service professional and accommodating. I had the Red Beans & Rice. It was serviceable, but not great. My only complaint is the high seating stools are not the most comfortable.

West Five is cute and kind of small. Lots of bar space and some seating. Great happy hour drinks and food. Killer mac-n-cheese, great hummus plate, beef bites,... never had anything not good! Excellent mai-tais.
