About
Westward is a water-inspired full service restaurant and bar located on North Lake Union. Chef Jack Rodgers leads the team in new directions, striking a delicious balance between contemporary Northwest and Mediterranean flavors. The approach is natural and continually evolving, reflecting the simplicity of great products, fresh ingredients and the changing seasons. The wood-burning oven is at the heart of the kitchen and is an integral element in the restaurant. Each seat has unique views of the lake and the city and a large deck, fire pit and beach area provides space to sit outside and sip cocktails in the summer, or snuggle in the restaurant's wool blankets in the winter. We arrived at Westward via boat and were able to find a spot at their dock. The views of south Lake Union on a sunny late afternoon were great. We were with friends and family and had a leisure dinner. We brought wine, but started...More

After reading great reviews about Westward, I squeezed it into my itinerary during our trip to Seattle. We arrived without reservation and were sat right away (it was early evening on a Sunday). We opted for outdoor seating which made it nice to enjoy the...More

Gorgeous view of Seattle, we were there on a perfectly clear and sunny day, boats come and go and seating outside include Adirondack chairs looking out to the Sound. Food was outstanding and a breakfast bourbon drink set the stage for a perfect morning.

I've dined here several times. Amazing view, great ambience, like a photo shoot in "Sunset" Magazine. But wow...hideously expensive and I have a couple of significant gripes. During the summer, no one will pick up the phone. You can only communicate via e-mail. (Really?) I...More

My mom and I came here for Mother's Day brunch. By the time I made a reservation, the only option before, like, 3pm was when they opened at 10am. All of the staff we encountered were super personable. We felt like the breakfast menu was...More

We came here for brunch recently and it was our first visit to Westward. The location is great with an outside seating area and views of the lake. As many other reviewers have said, it would be a wonderful place to sit outside and have...More

I penned an early less than glowing review for Westward. the view has always been awesome, but at the time it was pretentious and just not great. We went back, and with new management, it was a treat. The menu still falls short of 5...More
