I must agree with Anthony H. We were so looking forward to eating at this charming restaurant until we met our waiter. He was downright unfriendly, to the point that my husband asked him at the end of our meal if he was all right. (His stiff reply, "I'm fine.") I ordered the rigatoni the patch who's first ingredient was... More

My wife and I go to La Vita Bella on a regular basis and have never been disappointed. We have also brought our friends who have become regulars. The owner, Giuseppe, is always welcoming. All the pizza and pasta we have had to date are excellent and the desserts have been very good.

It's a shame that the tasty food at this restaurant is overshadowed by lackluster, hollow service (when actually stopping by the table). We had a reservation for 7, showed up on time and were incredibly polite. The first gentleman greeting us seemed unhappy right out of the gate and continued his dispassionate service to the bitter end. We didn't order... More

Absolutely fantastic pasta. My wife ordered spaghetti carbonara and I ordered the Fettuccine Tartufo. Spaghetti and fettuccine were cooked to perfection. Carbonara was excellent (and, with apologies to a previous reviewer, we could have crafted the sauce at home - but that is virtually always the case with a pasta dish - which, to me is not a criticism). The... More

Two of us came in for dinner on a Saturday night. From the start it felt as though they were having an off night. Our server was the owner, which one would think would be a good thing, but he seemed to be distracted. Another server looked to have been crying. Not sure what was going on. We ordered waters... We were just walking around trying to find a place to eat, and stumbled into here. Service was amazing and food was fantastic. The different bruschetta's are definitely not something to miss out on. We will definitely come back the next time we visit

Dinner was great! Closest we ever got to a Trattoria in the US. Food was well prepared. I think it was the seasoning that made it. Final comment - the waiter chose the house wine for us - it worked, great pairing

If you're looking for some authentic Italian food in the Belltown neighborhood then look no further. La Vita E' Bella serves homemade pasta, a wide selection if Italian wines, and is owned and operated by friendly Italian staff. Prices are reasonable and the restaurant offers both indoor and outdoor seating along 2nd Ave. This is a great spot for a... More

My wife and I stayed at a nearby apartment and had both lunch and dinner at th is restaurant. The food is good and reasonably priced. The service is quite good. The menu for lunch and dinner is extensive. A place to seek out if you're in the area.

Went here based on good TA reviews. We were 4 minutes late for a 7:15 reservation and were informed at the door that we would have to wait 10 minutes for service. No greeting. No "do you have a reservation". Nothing. Basically, sit down and wait, and this with half the restaurant empty. Okay, fine. So 10 minutes later, to... More

Description
At La Vita E Bella we provide authentic Italian food made with homemade sauces and pasta. We offer many seafood dishes inspired by our Sicilian roots and fresh Seattle offerings. Thin pizzas are baked fresh for our mouthwatering customers. We have a large wine selection and many antipasto platters (appetizers) that are perfect for a quick drink and snack on the go. With a live accordion player, our restaurant has a romantic atmosphere and welcoming environment ideal for locals and tourists alike. Owner Giuseppe Forte strives to offer affordable cuisine that pops with flavor and value. He personally buys the groceries several times a week to insure the best products, allowing prices to remain low and fair for our customers.
