Our griends invited us to this restaurant that is located across from Alki beach. It's a nice restaurant. Everything was great-delicious. Salomon with cherry-cherry sauce was a pleasant surprise. We had a great time.

We went there as two couples for the late Happy Hour (9pm on) on a warm Saturday night to catch the sunset and the Seattle city lights. When we arrived we were greeted on the ground level by the hostess and told to just go get any open table upstairs for Happy Hour. So we went upstairs and got a... More

This is a great place to dine! It's always super busy, which should be a testament to its popularity. Food and drink is great! I really don't understand the poor reviews, perhaps because some may not have been served immediately. But for such good food and decent prices, some patience is to be expected. This will certainly be a regular... More

We had a late lunch at Duke's Chowder House on Alki this past Sunday. I had the chowder (their award winning clam chowder) and salad (Out of the Bleu Caesar) combo. The chowder was really tasty (a creamy clam, tiny potato and herb delight) and the salad was perfect (a mild bleu cheese flavor, but no big chunks of cheese).... More

Great service, great food and a nice corner table with a view and room for the group. We didn't feel rushed and waitress was attentive without being intrusive. Food came quickly and was perfectly prepared.

Drove to Seattle for lunch and didn't know where to eat.. took a chance and drove down Alki Ave to get close to the water and stumbled across Duke's. The restaurant and service are great food is fantastic and resembles to Duke's in Hawaii.

A favorite haunt of mine now has a second floor sweeping view of Elliott Bay. You can request it when you make a reservation and they have always made it happen. Friendly service, happy hours, ever changing menus and a decent place to sit for hours and watch volleyball on the beach below. Rombauer Chardonnay by the glass!!!

It was our first time in the area and someone recommended Duke's. We're so glad we went for dinner! The hostess and the waitress were truly excellent. And the food was really excellent! We had the Dungeness Crab “Un”Cakes and Sambuca Halibut with organic vegetables and thoroughly enjoyed it. The view was fantastic as well. I will definitely be going... More

We enjoyed our evening out at Dukes because the service was attentive, the food was great, and the view is wonderful. It looks like a small place from the outside (and it is on the small side) but the food was tremendous. Four different kinds of chowder, numerous salads, and a seafood menu full of speciality dishes. Everyone ordered something... More

The Lobster Mobster chowder was amazing. Salad was nothing special and Rockin' Rockfish Taco very very good. Nothing beats the view and even has heated outside 2nd story seating.
