As visitors in Seattle we were looking for good dining experiences and stumbled over the Palace Kitchen after the jazz. First observation was the friendliness and welcoming approach by the staff together with some banter between the staff. Everyone in the restaurant was happy! The food was excellent with some amazing options and the wine available matched any food. Lots... More

Heard about this place being local and excellent - it was! Pistachios served at the bar! Very nice. Chef is well trained and knows how to run his restaurant. Locals were friendly and helpful to some out of towners. Definitely will visit again and highly recommend!

The three of us thoroughly enjoyed this place. It has a casual ambience, a very interesting menu, and our server was a delight. It is a bit spendy, but of course we had drinks and a few h'ors d'ouvres for the table to share. I would go back in a heartbeat.

People seem to hop in and out of this place for a glass of wine maybe in their way to other events? Located in the trendy Belltown area of downtown Seattle, this is one of Tom Douglas' stable of restaurants serving quality local food in unpretentious relaxed settings. Always a great place to meet a friend for a glass of... More

We shared starters along with a salad and found that to be adequate. The ribs were particularly delicious. The berry pie and icecream was big enough to share....well nearly, it was as though it came from my mother's kitchen....with old fashioned biscuit pastry. There was a vibe to the place and the waitress was friendly and helpful. A 20% surcharge... More

Everyone loves this place, but I was not impressed. The menu is a bit odd, but I am a bit practical. Perahps it is not a good match for me. Others said I should have tried it, but not impressed.

Food is expensive as noted in other reviews but it's good. I had the Caesar salad with "huge garlic crouton" which is more Ike an airy piece of bread. Oldest son got buttered noodles which he loved. Youngest son liked his cheeseburger. My husband was not impressed with the chicken. Desserts were good, again expensive. We would visit again. Atmosphere... More

We didn't eat there, but the burgers looked good. The cockTails were above average, but there are better bars nearby.

The beet salad was excellent! The chick pea fritter was tasty but the portion size was small. The triple coconut pie was the best coconut pie I've ever had. And if you have room left, try the sesame seed ice cream. Delish!
