In Seattle to celebrate our daughter's 30th birthday, with the help of our niece we chose Kells for the surprise gathering of family and friends, a group of 25! My niece did the legwork and made arrangements with Karen the owner for our group. As we assembled, we were taken care of by Sharra, the most professional server I've ever... More

An Irish pub with live music and a great whisky selection - what more do you need? Food is pub fare - but good quality with some nice touches. Get the Farls (basically an Irish potato pancake taco), especially the Pork Farl. Good draft beer selection (not huge but enough to have a good choice. The Whisky selection is quite... More

Really good Irish food. Get there early because it will be standing room only! The food I had was cooked well, and tasted great!

Super fun staff and delicious (but very heavy) food and beer choices. Kels has been around for a very long time and the place has great history to it. I love the active, loud, and fun atmosphere this place has and make a point to stop every time I'm required to play tour guide.

We always love to eat here when in Seattle. They have awesome food. I love the shepherds pie and the sausage rolls. Service could be better but it is not bad.

I've been here over 100 times in the last 20 years, since I first moved to Seattle. I've had everything on the menu at least three times. I have never once had an improperly cooked meal, poor service, or a bad experience. I've been here in every season, for a pint or a dram or a meal, brought countless friends... More

We went for dinner as the menu intrigued us. Lo and behold the whisky selection from Ireland and Scotland is to die for. We have yet to have seen such a selection! No whisky snobbery either. Just a good place to have a wee dram and good food.

I've been a fan of Kells for many years in Portland, but this was my first visit to the original location in Seattle. It's a great, authentic feeling Irish pub with plenty of live music, great beers and friendly staff. Oh, and it's considered one of the most haunted bars in the U.S. as the building was a former mortuary.... More

Drinks only - did not order food. Service good. We needed a resting spot in a long day on foot. The staff were attentive but left us alone once we had ordered.

Thank Jean L

Kells Irish Restaurant & Bar is one of Seattle's favorite hideaways. Situated in Post Alley above the historic Pike Place Market, Kells is a fine way to round up a day's sightseeing or browsing at the market. The pub is always alive with folks cooling off after a day's work. The restaurant will be sure to remind you of the Old Country with its warm, cozy atmosphere and traditional surroundings. There's also a patio outside that's a great place to feel the breeze from the Sound and the buzz of the marketplace. We also have a grand celebration every St. Patrick's Day. Kells proudly serves Seattle's largest Single Malt Scotch collection.
