We found this place after looking for well over an hour for somewhere that our group of 6 wanted to go to. We went on a Saturday night and had been looking for a restaurant that appealed to everyone. We had 2 kids, so we needed something they would like and 2 other people who are somewhat picky. This place... More

Walking down Post Alley there are a couple of restaurants, one being Kells Irish Restaurant. Isn't it everybody missions to find the Irish Pub in every town you visit? It's mine. The food was very good. The soda bread was even better! Most soda bread I've tried is dried out or bland. The soda bread here was so soft and... More

We happened upon Kells while on the way to Pikes Market, hidden away on the alley. Having been to Ireland, the food was authentic and a great selection of Irish whiskey! Service was nice and we were able to chat with the wonderful owner who showed us around her place and explained that this was the first morgue in Seattle!!!... More

We ate lunch at this establish which is tucked away on Post Alley while walking about Pikes Market. Service was quick, polite and courteous.

Service was okay but nothing special or memorable. Their own beer was decent. The location is at or near pikes market. The area had many people wandering about. This was located in an alley on the northwest end.

The food is fine -- not great but not bad either. Wait staff are very friendly. Great location in Pikes Market.

Our party of 3 went for an early dinner on a Friday afternoon. The outdoor seating was full but we were quickly seated in a booth near the bar. The restaurant is a quieter reprieve from the madness of Pikes Place on a Friday afternoon. The Irish beers (Kell) they have on draft are quite good. The menu has most... More

Kells is a great place to visit and I love the live music and the possibility to watch sports events but where you normally expect that the food in a bar is average I was surprised by the great food. I tried the lamb while my colleague tried the salmon and both of us liked it very much. Go for... More

We had lunch at Kells after visiting Pikes Place. It was my favorite place we are during our week vacation! I had the seafood pasty w the chowder and a Manny's beer....sooooo good! Our group also has the Danny's special and the sausage log...all of it was great! Will definitely go back!!!

Kells Irish Restaurant & Bar is one of Seattle's favorite hideaways. Situated in Post Alley above the historic Pike Place Market, Kells is a fine way to round up a day's sightseeing or browsing at the market. The pub is always alive with folks cooling off after a day's work. The restaurant will be sure to remind you of the Old Country with its warm, cozy atmosphere and traditional surroundings. There's also a patio outside that's a great place to feel the breeze from the Sound and the buzz of the marketplace. We also have a grand celebration every St. Patrick's Day. Kells proudly serves Seattle's largest Single Malt Scotch collection.
