I always like to try different Korean restaurants and decided to try this one for take out lunch for the family. This restaurant is in an alley with other stores and restaurants. Parking is a little bit tricky but we didn't have a problem since...my husband waited in the car while I picked up the food. I called in our order 1/2 hr before picking up and the lady was so nice to call me back to ask if we wanted eggs in our bibimbap and ramen since I asked for no meat in everything. We ordered a japchae with no meat, a tofu bibimbap, a vegetable soon doo boo and a ramen with rice cakes and no meat. When I arrived, I found that only one lady was doing everything: cooking and taking orders. Besides me, there was only a delivery person picking up an order so I didn't have to wait more than a few minutes to get my food. The restaurant is tiny so I believe there are only 3 tables open due to the pandemic and social distancing rules. Everything tasted like home cooked Korean food. Highlights were the Japchae and the Soon Doo Boo. The only negative was there weren't as many of the side dishes as I have gotten from other restaurants.More

Like eating in your Korean grandparents' kitchen. Yummy staple dishes, generous portions with many included sides. Our favorite place to go when it is wet and rainy and we want hearty delicious hot food (and super healthy, but that's not why we go) Our favorite...is the bibimbap served in a sizzling stone bowl (Dolsot bibimbap)More

Local gem. Want some Korean food that is served quickly by a friendly staff? Come visit Kimchi Bistro. Basic 'home' style feeling, reasonable prices and consistent quality. I drop in every 2-4 weeks. In short recommended.

This place is a tiny restaurant with home cooked food and great service. I had the rib eye grill, gyoza and my husband had tofu with egg on rice.

A nice kalbi, with a good cut of meat and marinade. A nice selection of six banchan to accompany the meat. They served it on a sizzling plate lined with cabbage. You WILL burn your tongue if you don't wait. But you'll like it nonetheless.

We found this bistro on yelp and went for dinner. Me and my friend ordered two soups (come with rice) and a seafood pancake. It is not as cheap as I thought it is but well it is worth the price.

Have eaten in this little Bistro for years, have yet to be even slightly disappointed! A little slip of a place, back a hallway, off Broadway. Friendly staff, sharing all jobs and opinions. A nice selection of fresh and pickled kimchi on the table great...with icy cold beers while dinner is prepared. We always start with "Hae Mul Pah Jun" - a panfried mungbean pancake laced with red peppers squid and scallions, crispy and delicious. We always follow up with the "Kimchi Dohl Soht" and "Bul Go Gi Plate", two dishes perfect for sharing. Eating here is like going home to your Korean Grandmom for a good home cooked fix!!! YUM!!!More
