My son and I went out to enjoy a birthday dinner. Had the seafood platter with crab on the side. They called it a platter. I remember having one in NY where it was 4 tiers but it was more expensive. Wish there was more...seafood and we added crab legs. It was only two so not value there. 3 sauces with crackers. We thought it would be more so we ordered lobster bisque-which was excellent and the scallop dish that very good with lots of good vegetables. They brought us a complimentary crème Brule for desert-good too.More

If you want an ok cocktail with a nice view, this *might* be your place. If you are looking for a nice dinner, maybe fine dining, try someplace else. This place capitalizes on a great location with a very weak experience. I'm sure it makes...money for them, but what a disappointment. Manager walking around dining room wearing a dirty shirt and a baseball hat on backwards. 45 minutes to get an appetizer. Managed as effectively as a pile of puppies. Never again.More

I've eaten here many times over the years, surprised I haven't reviewed it. The food was always very good. We went on Thanksgiving for something special without turkey, and made a much earlier reservation than we usually would so we could appreciate the view. Even...with gray rainy skies, we did enjoy the view. Our server was great. I started with champagne and Pacific oysters, which I was told were Kumamoto, as they had run out of "the others". They were very tasty, but incredibly small. I've eaten a lot of oysters, and have never had any this small. Made for a quick appetizer! My husband had the crab lobster bisque, which was served in a huge tureen! It was delicious. Next he had the Caesar, which he liked, and it had what looked like tiny anchovy balls in it. My blue cheese pear salad was OK, not overdressed, but not enough blue cheese - if you order a blue cheese salad you like blue cheese! And the pickled onions were overkill. Then we shared the seafood bucatini, which was cooked perfectly, and they kindly split it for us. But it was so bland! We both added salt, which helped, but not much seafood flavor. The small amount of crab on top was dry and tasteless. Very disappointing! Even dessert was disappointing, as they no longer offer the trio of creme brûlée, my favorite. We had a good time, spent a lot of money, and don't think we'll be back unless we hear the food has improved a lot.More

We visited Palisade with friends and will never go there again. In fact, I would give a rating of -0- if I could. My husband and I both had dishes with crab in them, and neither of our friends did. Driving home from dinner we...started to feel an upset stomach and three hours later both of us were hit with the worst stomach cramps, diarrhea, and vomiting we have ever had. We called the restaurant the next day, and the day after that, and two more times before the manager answered and I was actually able to speak with him. He argued with me, saying that their food is kept at a perfect temperature and no way we got sick because of them. I told him that every other meal we had for the last two days, we had shared with our friends, and they did not get sick. He told me NOT to call the health department and that he would see if corporate would refund us, if I would email him the receipt. I did immediately and never heard back from him. After two weeks, I decided I should call the King County Health Dept. regardless, knowing I would probably never see a refund if I did. I was called back by an investigator and spent an hour on the phone answering all of her questions. She said our symptoms (down to how long it took to happen, the severity, and how long it lasted - all in gory detail) were exactly a type of bacterial food poisoning, and based on when we had other food, etc. it had to have come from Palisade. She stated that Palisade is legally bound to call the health dept. when they receive a complaint like mine, yet they had never called. Two months later and I was never contacted again by Palisade, nor have I received a refund. The worst money we've ever spent on food. Please keep in mind this is how they treat customers, if you should choose to go. I have a very detailed record of every single call I made and email I sent. The manager only called me back once, every other time I had to make repeat calls until he actually picked up the phone. Their lack of compassion, empathy, and caring towards their customers is appalling, and I felt compelled to let Tripadvisor readers know.More

This was our 1st stop on our 6 day seafood tour of Seattle. For starters we sampled all the appetizers and every one of them were extremely delicious. I highly recommend the warm crab and lobster dip it was absolutely amazing in, the Pacific moistures...were my daughter in wife's favorites. For entrees we tried the Pan seared scallops and the Cedar plank crab stuffed king salmon again both were amazing. The restaurant itself was amazing with indoor ponds full of fish my daughter was allowed to feed.More

Palisade is our automatic first choice for special occasions. We went to Palisade for our 18th anniversary on Valentine's Day and were treated like royalty. Our lead server was JP (he's been there since they opened in 1992). Attentive, friendly, positive and helpful. Great attitude...and he set the tone for a great experience. We were visited by managers who let us know how much they appreciated our celebrating our special day with them. Lobster, steak, grilled prawns and the biggest crab leg we'd ever seen. Everything was perfect. Loved the food, the view, the architecture and the service. Thank you, Palisade, for making our anniversary a treasured experience!More

We called around Seattle to see who was going to have prime rib for dinner. Palisade was the ONLY ONE serving prime rib that weekend. We both had a wonderful dinner. We asked for the larger cut. It was all we could expect. Plus the...cream brulee was awesome 👌. Large portions and very creamy. All in all we have a wonderful experience at Palisade by the water in Seattle. Thank you everyone who works there for a wonderful dining experience. Paul and SuzanneMore

This restaurant is overrated. That was quite a drive from downtown, ok nice views probably because we arrived at night time, so if you take away the scenic view it’s a basic seafood restaurant. The seafood and sushis were average, nothing crazy. The service was...nice but just with a couple of table, they have tendency to forget you. Will not come back.More

I just spent a summer evening absorbing great ambiance, and great food at Palisade. Location, view, building, and food. Palisade has them all. Actually the location next to the Elliot Bay Marina adds to the view by putting some pretty fancy boats in the foreground...with the Seattle skyline in the background. The beautiful shaped building is built of wood and superbly finished. It matches the view. And the food keeps up the great story. Oyster appetizer, steak or salmon, all are done perfectly. My salmon was done with a sweet and sour cherry sauce which got the sour first and just right. Some wonderful bacon and potato pancakes would be worthy of. a disc of their own. And the salmon was perfect too. My wife's Wagyu steak was beautiful. We shared a tasty peach cobbler with rich vanilla ice cream for desert. All sitting on the deck off the bar in the open air. An experience not to be missed.More

My friends welcomed me to Seattle by taking me to THEIR favorite restaurant, Palisade. What a treat! From the fish swimming in a pond (and in tanks) near the entrance to the 180 degree curved windows that provide a view of Seattle, this restaurant was...a visual delight. It is accessible for folks using wheelchairs. The menu had so many tempting dishes, that it was HARD to choose. However, the tower of appetizers and the cod proved to be great choices for me. My friends had soup, salad, steak, and other goodies. We all left VERY satisfied. What a wonderful first meal in Seattle!More

Went with a groups of 14 friends on New Year’s Eve. While the venue view was very good, the food was very mediocre. This was a fixed menu. A couple of the courses were pretty good, but the main course, beef tenderloin was very tough...and not warm. Disappointed given the fairly high price point. Palisade has been my favorite restaurant in Seattle for many years.....now I’m not so sure.More

The Sunday brunch has so many food choices - freshly made omelets and eggs benedict, a seafood table, breakfast table, salad table, and dessert table. More food than you can imagine. Service was outstanding - the waitress was one of the best I've ever experienced....For birthdays, there are rose petals and a birthday card on the table as well as a free dessert. Great view of Puget Sound and downtown.More

Came for my birthday and the food was not the same as it was before. Service was not amazing, and the food was definitely off. Server recommended the Kung Pao calamari, was ok but tasted like something you would get at PF Chang’s. Scallop entrees...were poorly paired with sides- sitting on top of giant dry corn cakes with a side of not so fresh Dungeness crab and overpowering bacon/basalmic relish. Not impressed- been 5 years and don’t know if I’ll be back. The drinks were better than the food. Also, was my birthday and they usually bring a cake with candles and they did not this time.More
