Shuckers is a wonderful restaurant in the Fairmont Hotel. The food was excellent but the restaurant is quite small. Reservations would be recommended.

My wife and I spent our 20-hr. at Shuckers and the food was fabulous. As well as the service. Definitely recommend Shuckers.

Came through the Fairmont Olympic Hotel looking for a place to eat. The service at Shuckers absolutely faultless, from being seated to advice being proffered as to what to select, through to timely serving of the courses. Started with the oysters and followed by the crab (with bib & nut crackers) the food was excellent. The wine served by the... More

We enjoyed our visit to Shuckers because we went their during happy hour 3-5 pm. M-F. We had 3 kinds of fresh oysters for $1.50 each instead of $3.50 each. We pigged out on the oysters and a glass of local wine. Place is in the Fairmont Olympic hotel. It has the dark paneling Old World Deco. Prices are on... More

This is a great restaurant for happy hour because it offers a good selection of beer, wine, and martinis as well as good seafood and other appetizers. Try the brussels sprouts!

We had finished a busy day and decided to just slide into a late dinner at our hotel. To our delight, Shuckers is a clubby, wood paneled public restaurant with top of the line service and delicious fresh northwest seafood. The King Salmon was perfectly grilled and complimented by a mostly Oregon and Washington wine list. The seafood chowder included... More

Had to ask twice to get waitress to take our dinner order .. Fried oysters had so much breadcrumbs that they... More

Jay was so good at giving the best quality of customer service. It was our first time at this place and didn't really know what to order. He was very kind to recommend us the best and they came out more than expected. Awesome Service Excellence

Went for a glass of wine and some oysters (Monday to Friday 3-5 pm) $ 1.5 a shuck. Samantha, the bartender provided excellent service, and not her fault that the shuckers were falling way behind, waited 15 mins for my snack to arrive. Ambience is akin to an old cozy bar, complete with dark wood.

Came here one night without reservation for a late dinner. Got a spot at the bar and enjoyed a fabulous service. The place is very cozy and stylish. The salad as a starter had a fantastic dressing and the grilled halibut was delicious and very fresh. I recommend this place.

Thank wolfstern

Boasting the beautifully carved oak paneling and unique tin ceiling of the haberdashery it once was in the 1930's, Shuckers is one of Seattle's oldest and most pre-eminent oyster bars. With a daily menu featuring a selection of fresh fish and seafood, Shuckers brims with 13 different kinds of oysters prepared nine different ways and features local artisan microbrews.

The Zagat 2005 Restaurant Survey coins Shuckers as a 'Seattle classic' that is one of the 'best seafood restaurants in town' with 'great ambiance' and 'excellent service.'
