We ordered clam chowder, halibut, fish and chips, and fried oysters. All of them were just average and on the overcooked side. The fish and chips was the only order that was good. Save your money and go to Etta's.

My wife thought her Halibut was as good as any she's ever tried. I would have liked to have been able to see an array of scallops, not just be told that only three were recommended. And the prices are outta hand. A very nice Pinot Noir was priced at $98, but we bought the same bottle in Port Towsend... More

Well, this was a great Good Friday choice...no one will be looking for fish or seafood, right? Haha, well I had checked on here and another rating site and was impressed with the reviews, so I decided to splurge. Shuckers is located on the street level corner of the very grand and imposing Fairmont Olympic Hotel. Take time before or... More

I had the Salmon. It was very good, although slightly overcooked (my fault - asked for it medium). Would recommend going with the chef's recommendation on how to have your fish cooked...

Dined here solo while on a business trip, due to reviews and menu on OpenTable, and because it was walking distance from my hotel. A bit hard to find inside the Fairmont, as there is no sign on University St. (the actual address of the restaurant; OpenTable does not say this is inside the Fairmont). I was greeted rather rudely... More

Had dinner at the bar, which is a bit small, maybe 10-12 seats. The menu does have a lot to choose from. The bartender was friendly and I was greeted right away. The provided some bar snacks and baked parmesan cheese pieces which were interesting. I had the Steak Frites which was good. The NY sirloin was cooked a perfect... More

What a great place! Walking through Seattle wondering where to go and we were lucky to find Shuckers! I had the Seared Scallops, Vicki had the clam Linguini. Fantastic! Jim, the wait staff was amazing! The years of service the staff has at this restaurant is a testament to the feel! I love this place! If you would like to... More

In town for a college visit (SPU) we enjoyed a late lunch of clam chowder and Brussels sprout. A cold and rainy day made warm and inviting by the great service and delicious food!

Enjoy delicious seafood in Seattle and our own Rooftop Honey Ale on tap at Shuckers. Boasting the beautifully carved oak paneling and unique tin ceiling of the haberdashery it once was in the 1930's, Shuckers Oyster Bar in Seattle is one of Seattle's oldest and most pre-eminent oyster bars.

With a daily menu featuring a selection of fresh fish and seafood, Shuckers brims with several varietals and featuring local artisan microbrews.
