The restaurant was full when we arrived for our dinner reservations, so I thought this was a good sign but, the server had a very large section and seemed overwhelmed. We knew what we wanted from reading the menu on-line and ordered promptly, but after the first course arrived, the entrees were very slow to follow. I last dined at... More

Great food. Nicely done with a lot of interesting choices. Would definitely go back. This restaurant had long been on our list of "must do" in Seattle and we were not disappointed. The food is Asian but with a different twist.

Called in to reserve a table based on the fact that it was really busy- so must be good. We came back much later and it had now settled down and was peaceful. The food came quickly. It was tasty. Maybe a tad on the cool side where hot dishes were concerned. I really liked the Siam Cups the most-... More

I visited this restaurant during a business trip and upon asking recommendations for 'a good Thai restaurant'. It is located in the Pike's Place area of Seattle, so amongst many good eating choices. When one lives in the San Francisco Bay Area, one is rarely over-impressed with restaurants anywhere else in the world! That said, I would absolutely come back... More

This is a really classic Seattle place. Been here as long as I have (25 years or more). I think it was the first place I had pan-Asian cuisine, and it was in a much less grand location. But with changing times (and success) the restaurant moved to the center of the city--just across the street from Benaroya Hall. We... More

My wife and I ordered 4 mains and an appy to start - we wanted a big buffet kind of experience! Appy never came. Okay, on to the main: 7 spice beef - good -3.5 or 4/5 Mandarin chicken (sweet and spicy) - very tasty 4/5 (but not healthy - all batter - deep fried. Duck - not our cup... More

The service is spectacular and the food is decent. We had a group of 7 that we made reservations for. We were seated immediately and the drinks started flowing. There is a dizzying array of menu items. There is something for everyone and the servers are well educated on the menu. I would definitely recommend this place to meet a... More

Having lived in Seattle for many years I am among those who remember the Wild Ginger when it was a much smaller and utterly fantastic restaurant on Western Avenue near the Pike Place Market. Now, well established in it's ideal location across from Benaroya Hall, it is a cavernous space with a capacity to handle hundreds of diners. Given the... More

Found a quiet corner in the bar to enjoy some amazing food and drink. Ordered seven spice beef, hanoi tuna, spicy green beans - each one very tasty! The nectarine shrub with ginger was a perfect compliment. Wild Ginger is a great local place.

Let me begin by saying I have dined at Wild Ginger several times while in Seattle over the last few years. I have experienced fantastic food & service that you expect from a restaurant of this caliber. This time was slightly different: We showed up prior to our reservation time and were seated 30 minutes later. It didn't appear to... More
