Save your money ... everything in Seattle is way over priced! Food ok... calamari was good nothing else , salads, fish , salmon was anything to write home about - or the atmosphere... $175 for 5 people ... head to the eastside!

We went here for New Year’s Eve. It was a beautiful experience. The staff was great. The atmosphere was intimate but not stuffy. The food was great. The calamari for the appetizer is the way to go. Loved the sauce it came with!! My partner...had the blackened tuna and he said it only got better with every bite he took. We ended with delicious cheesecake and sherry. Truly a great experience!More

Spent four days in Seattle for a sporting event and came across the Flying Fish. The special of the day was a Coconut Curry Fish Stew - it was awesome. The right mix of coconut creaminess and heat. The amount of shellfish in the stew...was beyond expectation. The price point was fine. My brother had the bowl of chowder -- said it was alright - nothing special. My dessert, the chocolate lava cake, was worth the wait. My brother said the cheese cake was "spot on". Service was punctual and polite - but wouldn't say overly friendly. We dined around two in the afternoon.More

Staying in the area for the night and chose this restaurant, so glad we did. Got there just in time for the Happy Hour Menu, we enjoyed the edamame, and the fish and chips were excellent, some of the best we've had and I love...my fish and chips! Cold Happy Hour Beer was great, service excellent! I would definitely return on my next trip to Seattle.More

It’s been about 8 yrs since I dine at Flying Fish, my first visit was amazing therefor I wanted to go again hoping I would be impressed like I did. Overall I have to say it’s alright and the front door had a sign of...Fresh oyster deal all day which I ordered some, when a dozen came almost half of it was tiny compare to clams, I didn’t eat them instead I group them and put on a side plate for the server to take away. The server took away but did not acknowledge why I didn’t eat them so I didn’t say anything either. Anyhow service was alright but food just wasn’t great so this prob will be the last time I will go Flying Fish.More

Flying Fish received high praise from one of my foodie friends...but it was a bust the night that I took a party of 6. Several of my guests ordered fries and all but one of them were cold. We sent them back and they were...still cold. While the place looked clean there were several holes in the wall, the outlet plate was broken and we were only one of two parties there....That should have told me to run. But my Fish Tacos were great.More

Tonight my father and I ate here. The atmosphere was very nice however the food was absolutely disgusting. We spent 60 dollars and were still very hungry at the end of the meal. I would NOT recommend this place unless you want to spent lots...of money on bad food.More

Don’t know what to say - it’s a seafood restaurant that when I showed up at 6:30pm on a not busy Saturday for them they said they were out of mussels and clams and then when I ordered the fish tacos they were out of...tortillas. The food was okay, but I should have walked out when my gut told me to in the beginning.More

Saw great reviews on TripAdvisor. Both my wife and I both ordered Fish Tacos (one of the lesser expensive items ($24). As my wife needs to be gluten free, she has ordered these at many other places before. She felt these were the BEST fish...tacos she ever ate and I agree. The fish was prepared perfectly and came with fresh made corn tortillas (delicious), guacamole and a salsa. It also came with pickled onions (I'm not a fan of onions but these were great). Overall, an awesome meal. Great service as well.More

Had friends in town-they do not eat meat- so immediately thought of Flying Fish which we have frequented many times over the last 10 years. Was running late- called and pushed reservation back 30 minutes We were graciously accommodated. Arrived to an eatery that was...half empty-wow- the last time we ate there it was packed. Sat down/greeted by a very friendly young waiter-who was great throughout the night. Was quickly informed there was only ONE Rockfish left and NO Black Cod- WTF??- who has ever heard of a fish restaurant that never had enough of its two signature fish dishes???. We 'grab' the last Rock Cod (or so we thought ) and settled down to some lovely wine/Poke and salad to start. Finally main course was delivered. Once most of the food was placed on the table- we were informed that there was a mix up in the kitchen-and that another table got the last Rock Fish- double WTF???. .......but they had sent out an employee to the local Whole Foods to see if they had any RF(fortunately we didn't have an APB out to the fishing community!!!-LOL). We were in no rush- ate the rest of the main course food- and finally our beloved Rock Fish arrived -which we devoured. Can't fault them for effort 10/10 - but I'm sadly not sure how long this place can survive- and i ask again- what happened???More
