Long term very experienced and cultured wait staff. This establishment is all about service to the customer. Fantastic wine selection. Our party all enjoyed delicious steaks cooked to perfection. This was followed by the banana flambe, flaming at our table-side, covered with hot caramel sauce...More

Fabulous old school steak house with a great atmosphere with super service throughout the evening. The steaks were great but at 16oz a little on the large size. Not cheap either at $70 each. Recommend the house red by the glass. We shared a starter...More

Great service, great cocktails, good chowder and really nice beef. My delmonico was so tasty; shame all the beef portions are so large. Location easy and convenient

This place is a good steak restaurant to celebrate any special occasion. It is expensive, but has variety of different steak available in addition to nice ambiance. I will choose either here or El Gaucho for steak in Seattle.

If you are visiting Seattle and want a true dinning experience the Metropolitan Grill is the place. Know you will be paying more than $100 per person. But knowing that this upscale, classic, quality food with outstanding service is totally worth the money. We were...More

We wanted a great steak in a high end restaurant and we sure got one at the Metropolitan Grill. Quite a wine selection (perhaps too much). We both loved our steaks and the sides. I'm glad I saved room for the bread pudding. Very enjoyable...More

Old style fancy steak house with great cuts of meat. We've had issues twice with getting separate bills but other than that the service was good. Be ready to pay a lot for a steak, but as long as you are okay with the price...More

This is stated to have the best steaks in Seattle and they are truly excellent!! The service and atmosphere are wonderful. It is a very busy restaurant, but we did not find the noise level to be excessive or bothersome. I would definitely go again.

They're closed for six to eight weeks. Their last day before the remodel was June 16. No happy hour here for awhile 😎
Is a reservation necessary? What times are they least busy?

We had a reservation on a Friday night. It wasn't super busy but otherwise we may have had to wait for bit. My advice, play it safe and make a reservation.
