Here's another restaurant I've been going here since high school at its old location and a little rat hole right up the street. The neighbor kid actually worked here for a while. It's always had pretty decent, old school style Mexican. As extremely popular on...weekends and could be up to a half-hour wait. If you like this type of Mexico and you can't go wrong with this place. From what I understand they serve a mean Cadillac MargaritaMore

Viva is a staple, not only for me but a lot of my friends as well, as we all grew up coming here. It is family owned and operated, and has been that way for years. The staff is amazing, they will remember you from...years prior. My family has known the owners very well for years and years, so when we walk in its a family affair. will continue to come to Viva forever.More

Ten hungry folks including a 1 and 3 year old arrived hungry on Mother's Day and were not disappointed. This family owned and operated restaurant gave us excellent service and a wonderful dinner at a competitive price. What's not to like about a family working...hard to earn a living? The food was wonderful, fresh products, a variety of dinners enjoyed by all. My only regret is not living closer, Viva Mexico would be a weekly treat.More

We reserved for a birthday party of 14 and at the appointed time we were greeted with a table set up and waiting for us. From the time we sat down, we had a steady supply of tortilla chips, salsa and bean dip. The beverage...service was fast and efficient and the drinks large and well made to order. I was surprised that the kitchen was able to send all fourteen plates to the table simultaneously; all hot, well prepared and plated. Substitutions were honored on several dishes without any upscale on the pricing. Portions were generous and leftovers were boxed in above standard containers. Everyone in our party was well satisfied with their meal. There was always at least two staff members, and often more, checking in to make sure that we were pleased and provisioned with chips, water and... To make the birthday celebration more festive, the restaurant gifted us with complimentary beverages and provided a sombrero for photo opts and two staff members took pictures with our cameras so that everyone was in the picture. There is not much that can be said in the negative but I am sure that Mexican gourmands will squeal about authentic dishes. Yes, the menu is Americanized but let's not be snobby about it. You get, in extra measure, what you go to this restaurant for.More

As a kid, I remember on special occasions going to Viva Mexico for lunch or dinner with my family. The atmosphere, the food, the unlimited chips and salsa always brought a big smile to my face. I have grown up alongside the staff and they...have gotten to know my family well. Just recently while in town visiting, I stopped in for lunch. The staff were friendly and the service was fast, which was great as I was in a hurry. One of the things I love most about Viva Mexico is that it has been consistent for over 30 years. Every time I've visited, the food has been delicious, the staff has been wonderful, and service has been quick. A terrific value and a hidden gem in Seattle for sure!More

Been coming here for 30 years maybe that's the problem. They treat me very well the food is very good and the staff is very friendly all you need to do is ask and you will get ceviche for some more spicy hot sauce they...have everything in there happy to serve you whatever you would like supposed to say they don't have pico de gallo or things like that they're just wrong they just didn't ask for it. My wife loves their ceviche keep in mind it takes 20 minutes to make. ,! Love this place not sure why others don't I've traveled the world and Mexican food is my favorite and this place is a solid meal every time.More

Great staff, very friendly. A casual nice place to sit and enjoy delicious Mexican fare. Brightly decorated , it isn't a fancy restaurant per se but it is welcoming, inviting snd cozy. Good place for a couple to go and enjoy a relaxing meal.

Was told they had good food but service could be slow. I found the food to be tasteful and the service was good. I would go back again. Prices were OK.

It had been a number of years since I ate at Viva Mexico, but a recent business trip had me back in White Center and it seemed like a good choice for dinner. Well, it was not only good, but great! Servings are sizeable, the...servers were friendly and prompt, and the atmosphere was very relaxing. The menu is huge and I thoroughly enjoyed my combo platter of a chile relleno and enchilada. I won't wait so long next time to return. So bueno!More

Quick service for take out. Nice atmosphere. Large portions. The seafood options all have this delicious sauce with mushrooms. Ask for the black beans... Trust me!
