Went in for lunch on a recent Saturday. Had a lunch special combno for $9.00.. The food was mostly very good, especially the rice and beans. Especially liked the salsa and small bowl of slaw put on the table. Only small problem was the shredded...meat in the burrito was a bit tough. Service was very good. Will return.More

While visiting Seattle we were looking for a Mexican restaurant close by our VRBO and stumbled onto Puerto Vallarta. There were only a few other people in the place, but the service was very slow. We had a party of 9, but still, the place...was nearly empty. The portion sizes are huge. The flavor was average with not a lot of spice. I think next time we would look a little harder to find something with more flavor. Overall, not bad, just not great.More

Food was very bland and the portion sizes were so large I didn't even finish half. Service was insanely slow and felt like our table was forgotten about a few times. Definitely not anywhere near the best Mexican food I've had, probably won't ever come...back here when there are much better places to eat nearby.More

At one time we hit this spot every Friday night. The menu is large and cooked to order, the salads are large and fresh, and the chips and guacamole are delish! Note: kids eat for 99 cents on Sunday night. What a deal! Always attentive...service too.More

If you are looking for a great place to eat, with fresh food, generous portions and delicious chips and salsa, then Puerto Vallarta is the place to go in West Seattle! We have been eating there for 4 years and the food has been consistently...good. For a special treat, eat in the bar and get half priced appetizers, complimentary bean dip and delicious margaritas. We always order the Super Nachos which are served with your choice meat, fresh guacamole and sour cream and the chicken quesadillas which are loaded with big chunks of fresh chicken, guacamole and sour cream. Delicious!!!!!! Puerto Vallarta is a super casual place to eat great Mexican food.More

I eat there a couple of times a month and my family has been going there for over a decade. I mainly go there for Dinner, but recently I went there for lunch for the first time.

I've always loved the food here, although the portions are huge. I recommend the enchiladas! Their beans and rice are superb. The service is fantastic and the free chips are to die for. Really great.

Showed up for Cinco de Mayo because friends were asking us to meet and hang out. Service was excellent, but the food disappointed again. Maybe they make everything ahead of time, but the quality was soggy and had no texture or flavor. Soggy Nachos, oily...bland Taquitos with dried out shredded beef, cold bland cheese quesadillas. Chips and salsa are not a reason to come here.More

It was good. Servers were very nice. The serving sizes were large. I am from S California so we are used to a little more flavor in our Mexican food. It was a very nice and hot lunch.

This restaurant has a large menu with many options for all types of eaters. We were stunned by the size of my seafood enchillada. I was only able to finish half and had them pack up the rest. The place was packed, but the service...was attentive. For the price, the size of the portions makes this a great value.More
