I stop in here when I want a quick bite to eat. I love their tacos - I usually have a bean taco, but the fish taco I had last night was great! Very nice staff. Easy, not expensive, no drama.

Really laid back place to get dinner. Lots of options, food and drink/beer, good prices. The food was great. To go or dine in.

Big portions of delicious Mexican food. The veggie burrito is highly recommended. Lots of seating and a condiment bar with lots of different salsas. Best place for Mexican in West Seattle.

This is a simple Mexican restaurant with a big menu, but the quality of the food [at this location] is always good. I've had lunch once at one of their other locations and was sadly disappointed in the sloppiness, which I've never found at the...West Seattle location. The tamales are well made, and the chile relllenos are real and have a delicious sauce. Their whole beans have a nice flavor. If you like pickled relishes and a variety of sauces and salsas, they have a self-serve bar of all kinds of fun stuff. I think they only serve liquor/beer/wine cooler type things in bottles. The place was cute, small with pretty paintings showing an old pueblo, about 6-8 tables. The food was good and reasonably priced. I had the 2 fish tacos, the fish could have used a little more seasoning but the variety of salsas on hand made...it super easy to spice your food as you like.More

Our experience here was that it had the look and feel of a place you might find in Mexico and there wasn't anything all that bad about it, but the food lacked flavor and spice. The portions were generous and the people were nice. The...place was clean. But nothing here to make me glad I came or really would make me want to come back.More

Anyone who's ever been to the tourist cities in Mexico's west coast will appreciate the feeling of authenticity in this café. From the blackboard menu to the beverage dispensers, this place is just lacking geckos. THIS IS NOT FAST FOOD, yet, in comparison to the...prices at Taco Time (the best Mexican-type fast food, IMHO), this is a steal of a deal. A flautas platter includes three flute-shaped (flauta = flute) fried tortilla tubes of meat - more in common with other Mex restaurants' taquitos. But I digress. The flautas are laid upon a bed of lettuce and garnished with guacamole, sour crème and pico de gallo, and served with rice and whole pinto beans. About $10.50, which is a couple bucks less than your typical full service West Mex restaurant in Seattle. Only here you get a salsa bar! There are several varieties of salsa, from mild avocado salsa to a picante (hot!) to smoked (chipotle) to more of that marvelous pico de gallo. Authentic Mexican style pickled veggies and limes accompany the salsas. Can't. Get. Enough. There are several varieties of taco salads and tostadas, a couple of standard Mexican soups, a whole bunch of burritos and enchiladas, and authentic street-style tacos of many meats and seafood. What you won't get are endless baskets of chips and salsa - those are on the ala carte menu. And although this is not quite full service (you order at the counter and get your own beverage), they will deliver your food and bus your table. Best hybrid with better food than nearly all the full service Seattle Mexican restaurants.More

Looks like typical walk- up-and-order Mex fast food. Until you scan the colorful wall mounted menu: almost 100 different choices. Muchos camarones ... Lots of shrimp choices and cod plus the usual "chicken, beef, or pork?" in tacos, burritos, enchiladas, et al. Friendly order taker....Fast delivery to table. Food generous but generally gringo-bland, but there's a fine salsa bar to add the desired kick.More

I tried the fish burrito. It tasted fresh, lacked flavor. My daughter had the rice and beans with tortillas. Her verdict similar to mine. It was fine, lacked zip.
