The menu looked interesting so we popped in on a Sunday night about 8.00. Given the quality of food and service that followed it was such a shame that apart from someone at the bar, no one else was in the restaurant. A couple did...More

We stopped by for Sunday night dinner after a day of sightseeing; it was very close to our accommodation; a quieter area of town. It served mainly Bosnian dishes, but also other items as well. There was only one other person in there when we...More

Enjoyed a wonderful meal here. It was a beautiful evening so we sat outside. Service was excellent! We decided to sample a number of shared items - flaming cheese and gyros sliders were really, really good! Fries that accompanied them were also great. Wish we...More

Tried the lounge for dinner. The food was good, goulash, gyros and salads were all tasty and fresh. Service was excellent.

This was my first time at the Sarajevo lounge and I will for sure be back any time I return to Seattle. I lived in Croatia for 11 years, and often when I travel, I will look for Croatian/Bosnian restaurants. This one absolutely did NOT...More

Very friendly service, but the food gave me a rather mixed impression. Baked brie and figs appetizer was very nice, but the Cevapi (supposedly the most popular dish on the menu) was way too heavy and fatty and gave me indigestion....

Ate here for lunch for first time. The food was hearty with good sized portions. Loved the Bosnian bread! Wait staff was helpful. Decor is dated.

A group of us stopped for a late lunch after the Women’s March event. We were about the first people but soon there were probably 20-30 patrons. There was one waiter/bartender on duty and he did a tremendous job handling food and drink orders for...More

This place is not exactly a foodie locale: I made a reservation but the restaurant was mostly empty (except at the bar) when we arrived and there was no maitre d either. Eventually we found someone to seat us, and even later we finally met...More

Perennially on the edge of great empires, the Balkans owes much of its food culture to its history, geography, and climate. The term Balkan is generally believed to come from the Turkish word meaning: "a chain of wooded mountains." With a desire to introduce Seattle to cutting edge Bosnian-Euro-Balkan-Mediterranean cuisine, Proprietor's Dino & Denis have created a dining & lounge space that will delight and indulge the senses. Primarily featuring fresh meats & sausage, Sarajevo also offer wines and spirits from the Balkans not often experienced by the American diner. Sidewalk Patio with views of the Puget Sound & a large private dining room with bar for your events
