My wife and I were set to visit the Seattle Art Museum right at lunchtime. We thought the museum would have a place for lunch, but what we saw there did not meet our expectations. At that point we walked up the street to the Brooklyn Seafood restaurant. What a surprise. I ordered crab cakes and my wife ordered lobster... More

One of our favorite restaurants in the entire country, certainly wouldn't consider being in Seattle and not coming here. The crab cake is as good as you'll find anywhere. And the salmon is nothing short of spectacular. Great old-school atmosphere, attentive & knowledgable service. Pricey but worth the cost.

Recommendable, to say the least. Great, friendly staff. Nice selection of wines and vodkas, but more importantly, great menu.

We had a terrific meal. The crab cake is phenomenal. I had the halibut and my wife had the lamb. Both were terrific. The lamb was probably the best lamb I have ever had. The chocolate cake for desert was great. Our server was friendly and professional. We will definitely go back if we return to Seattle.

Great char needs two things: the equipment that can get to that level of heat and a chef with the stones to char. This restaurant has both! I was seated at this really cool back bar area with these high-back leather chairs where I got to meet my char-king by the name of Francisco. Amazing food, really good service. I... More

Delicious fresh oysters and excellent clam chowder. Sit at the chef's counter to watch the busy cooks prepare the orders. Just lunch this time, but would come back for more.

We love The Brooklyn. Their food is exceptional (albeit pricey) and they offer unique beverage flights. I had the whiskey flight and my husband had a beer and oysters flight. We love sitting at the chef's counter where you can watch them cook and talk with them a bit.

I grabbed dinner at Brooklyn while I was in town on business. This was my first time at this restaurant, but definitely not my last. I started with oysters and they were out of this world. I'm quite sure you won't find any that are as fresh as the ones here. For dinner I had a wonderful salmon entrée. Overall,... More

Pros: Fresh oysters and great appetizers. We ordered Kumamoto oysters and could not stop eating them! We especially liked the mini ahi tacos. The ahi was fresh and nicely seared. The balsamic steak bites were also delicious. We were there at happy hour and the appetizer prices were reasonable. We ordered several different types of martinis, beer, and wine. There... More

Before our climb of Mt Olympus, we spent one night in Seattle and thoroughly enjoyed our meal at Brooklyn Seafood. The food and service were both excellent. We sat at the chef's table which was a wise choice. If in Seattle, check this place out!
