Came here for a fall trip after a walk around the market. Settled on some wine, could have grabbed a bottle from behind me, but only wanted a glass. My friend and I ordered the radish kimchi jar, ahi tuna tartare, fried oysters, braised short...rib, bulgogi beef sliders, kimchi hangover soup, less the pork and finished with the candied ginger creme brûlée. The service was good. We were seated right away. It’s a small cozy and quaint spot. The kimchi jar, fried oysters and the kimchi stew all tasted decent. My friend enjoyed his tuna, short rib and bulgogi sliders, even though it seemed he was eating for two, then again his sense of taste isn’t as refined to me. It’s a nice ambiance and spot by the markets.More

Good but not great. We waited until they opened at 5 because they don’t take reservations. Appetizers were good - we ate light due to a food walking tour that afternoon. The place is not big, but there were only two servers. So as the...place filled, service slowed.More

A Korean gastropub! Don’t worry, order whatever sounds good and you will be delighted! The prices are good, except during happy hour when they are GREAT! Service is friendly if a bit haphazard at times, but that’s part of the charm. No reservations so it’s...best to go early. Happy hour is from opening at 5 until 6:30 as of this writing.More

During a recent vacation, we visited Chan's for happy hour. As noted in other reviews, Chan's does not take reservations. Happy hour is from 500pm thru 630pm. We arrived about 10 minutes before the 500pm opening on a weekday and were the first in line....By the time Chan's opened, the line had grown. They have a great happy hour food menu consisting of about five or six small plates at half the price. We ordered all the happy hour menu items except poke and ordered a couple of the house made sodas. The food arrived promptly, one dish at a time. The fried rice cake had a nice texture of crunch and chewy, and was dressed with a tasty sauce. The sliders, two each of bulgogi and spicy pork, were meaty and flavorful. The pickled vegetables gave it a nice crunch. The spicy pork slider had a little heat, but was not too spicy. The fried oysters were nice and crunchy; the kim chi tartar was something different. Our favorite item was the chicken wings. Crunchy, moist, and delicious thanks to a flavorful sauce. Our server provided great service, checking on us periodically despite a full house. Chan's happy hour menu is an outstanding value. We left very satisfied thanks to the great service, tasty and varied happy hour menu, and quantity of food.More

This cozy little restaurant has only 36 seats (10 at the bar) and they don’t take reservations so we opted to delay dinner until 8 PM. Even then, a table was a 20 minute wait, but bar seats were open immediately. They have a good...reputation for their cocktails and I’ll vouch for the blackberry sidecar as a delicious choice. The menu is set up as smaller plates to share. We tried the tuna tartare (excellent), the kimchi soup (warm and filling against the cold, raw evening), and a small order of chicken wings (tasty). There were a good number of other interesting dishes on the menu that I would have liked to try had I been hungrier. I guess I’ll need to make another visit one of these days.More

I really enjoyed he Skillet Bibimbap It will always be the baseline of this dish But honestly fusion food proves usually to be on the safe side of the  ethnic spectrum. Location great to draw the uninitiated to Korean fusion and If I was a...Midwesterner this is a great introduction to Korean food. The rice cakes are unique. But I have had Hawaiian Korean chicken in Hawaii  and these wings come in a pale second.  The beef short ribs were a generous dish but sort of dull .I have the great privilege to live in Seattle where a humble spicy  teriyaki  rock and rolls. I should go back and have another skillet dish the next time It's a fun place. The Kimchi is home made and fresh. FYI On rainy day I would tread carefully their floor is dangerously slippery.More

We stopped here on a Saturday night and it was packed. Waited 30 minutes and it was worth it. We did a sampling of dishes which were all great but I remember the wings the most.

We arrived early as a group of 5 and waited a very long time for table while other groups both smaller and larger were seated -- they obviously had a specific table they wanted to sit us at rather than putting together a 4+2 to...accommodate us sooner. We were told it was a 20-40 minute wait, it took close to 1 hour and 20 minutes. Had cocktails while we waited, which were decent but not impressive. They won't serve appetizers until you have a table. The appetizers were good: the fried rice cakes were tasty, the chicken wings were excellent. Main courses were very good - the Bibimbap was a great combination of flavors and textures, and certainly not your usual Korean restaurant version of the dish.More

Hi, I’m unsure sorry. The restaurant is not very big so maybe give them a call first. The staff are very helpful. Hopefully they say yes because it’s the most amazing Korean food I’ve tasted.
