on a visit in Seattle, after roaming the Pike Market and feeling hungry saw this restaurant at a stones throw. The place was comfortably empty. It was 1 pm and we were told that we had avoided the lunch hour rush which is normally between...11 to 1. Being vegetarians we asked if there were ample veg dishes in the buffet. There was. Soup, salads, pakoras, 3 subji's, dal, rice, desserts - it was tasty and like home cooked food. The Nan served piping hot at our table was very good. As with most buffets we over-ate. Back home for a nice siesta.More
This place is certainly nothing to look at inside, but it serves the most amazing baingan bharta that I have ever had. Naan was amazingly fresh and portions were large. Overall the best meal I had in Seattle and super close to Pike Place market,...so you can shop and eat in one fell swoop.More
We stumbled across the Kastoori Grill one evening on the way back from Pike Place Market, and stopped in.
The food was delicious, authentic and served quickly and piping hot ... not to mention much more reasonably priced than other places.
Kastoori is a small restaurant near Pike’s Place Market that we tried on a whim for Indian food, a favorite of ours. Walking in the smell was inviting. All entrees and vegetables were delicious and the naan bread perfect. Service was excellent. All diners were...well pleased with the lunch and we will return.More
We went to the restaurant while we were Pike Place Market. Although the interiors could probably benefit from some renovations, the food was very good. We went in hoping to eat some Tibetan and Nepali food. We didn't see any of that, but what we...ate was tasty and worth the money.More
