My girlfriend and I went here for a Sunday brunch and were the only ones in the restaurant at about 10:30. We were worried that this was a sign the restaurant would not be good but we were pleasantly surprised to find out it was fantastic. We started with a small order of donuts and a glass of fresh squeezed... More

My husband and I went there for our anniversary. Ambiance was good and great for conversation. I loved the menu, which is divided between standard, gluten free, and vegan. For those of us with food restrictions this is just convenience heaven. We ordered the English Hummus, which provided layers and layers of flavors. We also tried their wood-fired mussels and... Ordered the muhammara app, Greek salad and pork and lamb gyro. The app came with burned and greasy pita, the Greek salad had no Calamatri olives or croutons as advertised. A $9 salad with nothing but lettuce and dressing. The gyro lacked flavor, one bought at a street fair would have been better. Thought I would give it one more... More

Good organic based middle eastern food with several gluten free and vegan options. On happy hour there are several specials and discounts to allow you to try several things as a table and share. A great place for a girls night where you will find something to fit everyone. The dips were delicious and the salads very fresh. The prices... More

Great break-away from the usual food choices in the restaurant scene. The restaurant is fully organic which translates into vibrant flavors. There are fully vegan and gluten free options for those who are seeking this. My dips are delicious...served with warm, homemade pita bread, they include baba ganoush, and Muhammara which is ground walnuts with homemade pomegranate molasses (yum, right?!).... More

Our daughters took us to this popular Ballard restaurant (reservations needed weekends). Wonderful exotic (to a S. Texan) spicy sauces to go with flat breads, (baba ghanoush, muhamarra, and a spicy hummus). I enjoyed a very properly prepared berber spiced halibut with roasted broccoli. The ladies had many vegan options to choose from. We would certainly return.

After Agrodolce, this was a bit of a let down. I can't say that any dish stood out in my mind. The prices are high.

A great place to try a nice twist on traditional Turkish cuisine. A couple of the more traditional middle eastern dishes had an unusual preparation for my palate. Not sure if it these were regional differences. Overall the quality is good and if you are a foodie you will probably really appreciate the unique preparations,

Not at all what we expected from a Maria Hines restaurant. After many visits to Tilth, and a lovely experience at AgroDolce, we certainly expected more. We split a Turkish pizza for a starter, and it was bland at best. Certainly nothing I would ever order again. Then we ordered a vegetable side to go with our entrees. It came... More

This restaurant was fine, but overpriced. The food shows a lack of expertise in the kitchen. It was a lot of little things when I went. The hummus was runny and the baba ghannouj needed more tahini. The meatballs were a little dry and I think they were deep fried. $70 for two people with tip and without alcohol.
