Very safe choice for a large group, set menu was a little pedestrian though (as demonstrated by it being almost identical to the restaurant we went to as a group the following night). Staff were friendly and approachable and it is a comfortable place to go. Looks like it's been the same for a long time - clearly it's working... More

It is a table cloth type of place and large, but it serves fresh, unique food. Try the 3 course, fixed price ($26) menu. I had jalapeno fritters, with blackened rock fish, ended with chocolate pecan pie....all fresh, medium portions ( I was not hungry when finished), light fare and great value. Try it.

From the moment we entered the restaurant, the aroma, the friendly staff and the ambiance of the restaurant combined to set very high expectations. These expectations were met - and exceeded. The wine (Napa valley Cab Sav) was exceptional, the oyster shooter I had as a starter was very interesting (a first for me), but the Scallops I had for... More

Blue acre was recommended by the grand Hyatt and certainly lived up to their recommendation. Greeted and seated, the menu was extensive but not overwhelming. There were dishes for both the meat eater and vegetarian in our party. The wine choices are excellent and the waitress was efficient, knew the menu, and we enjoyed the conversations we had with her.... More

For seafood and service this place is hard to beat. Not a trendy tourist spot but a great place for fresh seafood prepared creatively. They don't have a water view but look at what's on your plate and you wont care!

We were a large group and the service was great, the food even better. We started with the crab cakes and oysters, delicious. Then went on to the cod, crab legs & ahi tuna, all agreed they were the best they ever had, Prices are a little high but well worth it!

Dining at an off time made it great for conversation. The service was excellent and the food was tasty, but a bit over-priced @ 19.00 for fish and chips and 19.00 for tacos. I'm never a fan of restaurants that automatically add a 20% tip to the receipt. A large conference room would make for a great party or business... More

We enjoyed the restaurant to go back a second time during our stay. They have a good selection of fairly priced oysters & some excellent seafood dishes on the menu. The Clam Chowder & Gumbo were not just filling but very rich though I must warn people the Gumbo is spicy hot. Our dinners were made even better by our... More

This is a great seafood restaurant. We had been traveling around the US for a few days and tired of the usual steak houses etc so asked our hotel for the best seafood restaurant within a short walk. They recommended this and it didn't disappoint. The restaurant itself is nothing to look at but the service and food was top... More

Centrally located in downtown Seattle, Blueacre is the quintessential American seafood restaurant drawing upon the vast array of wild seafood available from the United States coastal waters as well as carefully chosen sustainably-farmed freshwater species, oysters, clams and mussels. Blueacre Seafood will feature a full-service oyster bar and in addition to all things aquatic, farm-fresh meat, game, poultry, vegetables and artisanal cheeses. Brushed nickel accents, rich wood panels and warm leather booths reflect Blueacre's American seafood heritage. Classic handmade cocktails are shaken in a comfortable bar, well stocked with American spirits, craft beers on tap and an all-American wine list. Blueacre is Seattle's downtown seafood destination.
