I found the owners pretty gross with their tattoos, and the food was so-so. Couldn't keep my food down, which is a shame. Avoid if you expect upscale

Come on in, and get a seat if you can. The bar is just that, a bar with tables. The main staple of the menu is chili. A burger is terrific and the fries are really good. Just relax and enjoy your selection. The wait staff are highly efficient moving drinks from the bar to the tables and getting the... More

The texas red is very good, as is the verde. Way overpriced though. be careful if you want cheese and onion and cornbread. Add ons will make a 8 dollar cup(bowl?) double in price.

Always meets expectations. delightful servers who work HARD! 4 different chilis with choice of toppings. The chili can also be served on yummy mac n cheese or grits or you can get these as a side. I suggest getting the chili fries *( fresh hand cut potatoes) and then getting a diff chili in a bowl. The kobe beef hotdog/chilidog... More

Looked a little rough on the exterior, but I'm glad my brother saw it on Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives and insisted we go. It was fun and funky on the inside with delightful staff and really great food. We had a party of 5 for lunch on a Friday, and were able to get a table right away. We had... More

Raved over the brisket chili over Mac and cheese. Enjoyed it so much we took an order to go for the plane ride home!

We saw this place on DDD website so decided to try it. The waitresses were awesome! We sat on the BBQ side but were able to order chili from slims. Wings good. Chili was somewhat flavorless.

Nice restaurant. Saw this on DD&D and thought we'd check it out. Of course, I ordered the Texas Red Chili (with "the works" added) and jalapeño mac & cheese. We were not disappointed! Biker type of bar, in a light industrial, blue collar part of town. Not a fake dive bar-the real deal. I really liked this place and would... More

We had a gift certificate to Sliim's Last Chance and were a bit nervous about what we were in for. We found a fun place filled with fun people and great food. Of course, the chili was the recommended dish. We had the brisket chili and now we know why everyone raves about it. The meat was perfectly seaoned and... More

As seen on "Diners, Drive Ins and Dives", this place had 4 different types of chili either on their own or covered with the works. They also serve chili on hot dogs or hamburgers. Some evenings they have live music. It's a "biker bar" type restaurant with a pool table in the middle of the room. We stopped by for... More
